It's a coaster.. for under drinks

I bought 2 of the small size thinking it’d be a great product to fit the gaps in my basking area for my tortoise, but I won’t be using it unfortunately. When received, it was very well packaged, might to do with a little less plastic but whatever, better safe than sorry. I pulled them out of the package an pretty much stabbed myself on the sharp cut edges before I even removed it from the last plastic packaging. So they are very rough, an sharp, I would highly suggest NOT using these unless you plan on getting them smoothed down, as your reptiles can give themselves serious injuries if put in enclosure as is. In addition all these sharp edges make it hard to clean up reptile waste off of. Overall it is what it’s suppose to be, but wish they would’ve noted the sharpness of the final product.Also small one is the size of a drink coaster just so people are aware, the product also looks like drink coasters with the small circular underneath pads, see photos for reference.

I actually purchased this to put in my hamster’s cage to help wear her nails down. It looks nice and natural and is sturdy so it stays in place.

I've been looking for a slate basking rock for my snake. Something I can place on top of his hide to help transfer heat and more evenly warm his warm hide. This was the first one I found that seemed to just be a piece of slate and not anything with glue and padding on it. I was wrong. This is a coaster with four hot glued feet on it. This leaves an air gap and doesn't help with heat transfer making it pointless. It also has glue on it so it's possible as it heats that some of the adhesive could start to melt and that is a danger to the snake. If you're looking for a basking rock, I'd say this isn't it. If you're looking for a coaster, this also isn't because you can buy a set for cheaper than this one. If you don't mind the glue and poorly attached 'feet', then still don't get this, get a four back of coasters for cheaper. Then at least you'd have extra.

So, I feel silly because I read the cm measurement in inches and was surprised that the small is basically the size of a coaster. It doesn't matter though — my leopard gecko just loves it. She sploots on it all the time to just chill out and warm up at the same time. Going to order the medium size so she has more room to sprawl out.
