At just under 4 inches in length I had doubts there would be enough leverage to do the job but it worked perfectly every time! If you use zip-ties you really need this little gem in your toolbox. It saves littering the ground with cut-up zip-ties.

It works. It is great for some ties. It will allow you to release a plastic zip tie, but it can be difficult to get it in place on some of them. It is easier to use on larger zip ties. Just be careful, as you try to get the flat point into the right spot it is easy to slip and stab yourself or whatever the tie is on.

I got more than my money's worth on the first day of use. It takes on second to cut a zip tie but it takes 2 seconds to save one to use later. I took it to work with me. I have a pair of snippers in one pocket and these openers in the other. Easy to pull out and have ready to use. Only takes an extra second to use. I keep the ties to use on other things at work. I'm very happy with it.

Product first was great and worked once you got the hang of it. Worked best with average tie-wraps the best. Did manage larger thicker tie-wraps (the real money saver due to more expensive ties) but killed the fingers because product made with very thin finger loops and thicker ties would wear down your fingers with prolong use. Small thin ties it was touch and go because the product would cut through the thinner ties if you are not more careful. Worse part the the sharp thin point of product eventually just snapped off with a couple of hours use, then it was really difficult to get it into place on tie wrap to work. Finally couldn’t use any more and my fingers were just worn out and soar. While the concept is owed a 5 star I could only give 3 and below for non lasting quality and basically a one day project purchase. I was linking metal cage squares to build a cat cage condo design and did a lot of rearranging and that project wore this opener down as it wore my fingers down. Looking for more ergo finger friendly ones and for longer use.

Super handy tool. You will use your hand strength as far as precision of tiny zip ties. I had way too many ties and my hands were sore but this thing is the bomb!

I wanted this to work, but it only works a couple of times and the tiny tip starts bending and stops gripping. The video of the person using it easily is misleading because it is very delicate and hard to use. You have to be very careful and strategic. It is a total waste of time and money. Cutting zipties still seems to be the best way. I did find a nice hook-style knife that cuts zipties easily and fits on a keychain. I recommend that instead.

I've had this for only a short time but it works really well. I use nylon ties in my garden and the ability to reuse them is good both for saving money and for the environment. I highly recommend. Only reason I didn't rate on durability is that I just got it.

This is an easy to use device/contraption to remove any cable tie that has its end cut very closely. Just need to poke inside the cable tie slot and squeeze the trigger, and the cable tie is open. One downside is that this is rather sharp and should be. It would be good to have a small case for it for keeping inside drawer

Very small and poor quality doesn't work

This does not work as well as it indicates on the website and video. Maybe 1 out of 40 tries did it open up the cable. Would not waste the money.
