Does this speaker have a forced 'standby mode/power down' mode included like in the other creative speakers? I want always on speakers

Yes as far as I can tell, they do.

Do they work with Alexa

If you connect them via the 3.5mm jack then they will work as an extension to Alexa's audio outputs. If you mean will they connect to Alexa via bluetooth then I would imagine so, but maybe someone else can answer that for you for sure.

Are these better than gigaworks t2 series iis? why are the former so much more expensive, cause they old?

These are more simple, with one speaker per box. The T2 had two high quality speakers per box. That's why those have better sound quality.

can you listen to these speakers via bluetooth headphones instead of using cable?

I dont know the answer. I wanted a pair of speakers and chose that make as they have a good name. I connected them by cable. I have not tried any other method. The technical Specification says Bluetooth 5. Operating range 10 metres. But how it works I havent the remotest .
