Will the vinyl wrap come off in a car wash?

I used it on the top of my black truck's tailsgate which was showing signs of wear from loading etc. The tape went on easy and it appears pretty permernate. The truck has been through the car wash 7/8 times since applicaton. Its been on about 3-months at this point. I assume I could remove it with a heat gun, but otherwise it's not going anywhere. Looks nice.
