Q: Hi i really like my traps. Only thing is the plastic steaks break off. Can i buy just the steak that goes in the ground?

Individual replacement parts are not available for our traps. They are covered under a one year replacement policy.

Q: Can this be used to kill gophers?

Yes it can kill gophers, as long as you place the trap in the path of a current tunnel. Refer to "You Tube" videos on the same subject. Hope this helps.

Q: How do you set it? I pull all the way up but it wont lock into position.

From my experience it sounds like you have the prongs too deep and the ground it tripping the trigger. Try not pushing the stakes quite so deep and see if it will set/lock. I know it kind of defeats the purpose.

Q: I have an outdoor cat. Has anyone used this with their pets, and if so, has their pet unintentionally sprung the trap so it has to keep being reset?

I don’t have a cat but am familiar how a cat would react to the traps If they set it off once they would avoid it like the plague
