First let me say that I live in California and we have no shortage of good, locally made corn tortillas. So why buy these made in Georgia ones on amazon.com? Because my friends they are the best commercial tortillas I have ever tasted in my 70 years on this planet. In the early 1970s I owned a small Mexican restaurant in a California college town. We were successful, mostly because we had the only beer and wine license in town, and had enough pull with our local tortilla maker to have them produce a slightly thinner corn tortilla for us. When fried at 365 degrees in a combination of peanut and refined coconut oil the tortillas produced a light, crispy, sweet chip that could not be matched. These tortillas have enabled me to travel back to that time in my life, with a taste that matches what we had then. I will be ordering these for life and suggest you do as well.

I've bought the (2) 80 count packs a couple times over the years, most recently in November 2023, and am about out of stock as of this writing. I store them in their original packaging in old #10 survival food cans. The product is stored at cool temps, generally never over 70 degrees F or under freezing, with a desiccant packet in the can and the lid on. No moldiness so far in the products I've tested since 2021, generally stored for up to two years so far. Still fresh, easily separate to use, and fry up in beef tallow like always, last night for fish tacos. Very consistent. In my opinion, buy direct from the maker for best results. They may not always be the seller listed on the product page. Check 'other sellers' as needed. I'll be trying their yellow corn tortillas of the same size, but in smaller packs, next.

I have thrown them out. They fell apart immediately. They also tasted terrible..worse than paper…more like wood. Awful
