The BEST headset I have ever used!!
These are the BEST headsets money can buy! I have gone through countless turtle beach, PlayStation and third party headsets but these are hands down the best ones out there in my opinion. The ear cushions are incredibly comfortable and make it really easy to use over long periods of time. Connectivity takes literally seconds with the receiver and you can switch very easily between PS5 and PC! It has some really good sound quality but the party piece of this headset is the microphone! One of if not the best mics on a headset out there! The design is very sturdy and it can take some serious use! Overtime the cushion covers may start to come loose but that would have been well over a year and that is with daily use for hours on end. The good news is that replacements are very cheap and it is so easy to change. If you are considering a higher end headset, you will not be disappointed in any way whatsoever. 11/10

After nearly 2 years ownership. Very happy.
These are the best headset I've ever used. In the points that matter the most, they far exceed anything anywhere near the price point. pros: -They are very comfortable covering the whole ear and not pinching. But not very heavy either so you dont need to be tight. Cotton is way better than leather. Im sold on it. -The sound quality and mic quality is very nice, you could probably even record YouTube videos with the mic, anticipating something prfessional in the future once yoou get a following. -The build quality is good, I've had them for nearly 2 years and there are no signs of any damage. My young children even got hold of them a few times and they came out undamaged. cons: -Battery life isnt amazing. They will last about 5-8 hours of daily intermittent use so they are something you'd want to charge each night if you use them a lot. -But when they are charging, they have a very bright light on the ear cup. Which means if your PC is in your bedroom, they are too bright to charge overnight. They dont charge fast either. They take at least an 1-2 hours to charge. All in all Im very happy and I will definitely recommend Corsair to anyone.

It’s good but it could be better, + re review
The software is excellent, except for the low mic volume which was driving me crazy. The build quality is a nicer rubber and plastic that is not flimsy and doesn’t discolour easily, the pivot mechanism of the headset is made from durable aluminium. the headrest is a unique band tightened fabric thing that holds the head in place. the sound quality is surprisingly good compared with previous iterations, however still does not outcompete some other similarly priced analog headphones. I understand That wireless will never compete with analog from price point, however even some £80 headphones have better environmental sound and than these Corsair headphones. In addition you can’t use Dolby Acsess or windows surround sound unless you disable frequency tweaks in iCue! This makes you choose Corsair features over functionality. I understand that surround sound is probably not that important for a none surround sound headphone, but I would have thought that at this price point 5.1 surround or 7.1 surround would be a feature. Apart from that +connectivity is great +nice style, +good mic quality, ( when boosted with windows custom programming ) +good durable build quality +good sound quality for wireless +frequency edits for wireless dongle +Corsair iCue features Negatives: - lack of proper surround, - lack of mic volume ( iCue related ) - battery lasts 3 to 2 intensive hours of gameplay on 60% loudness, - after 3 hours of gameplay the headband gets a bit tight, Improvements that can be made: + Better software integration + proper 5.1 surround sound support for wireless 7.1 uses more battery, + better battery efficiency ****2 Years later re-review:**** I’m writing a re-review because the headphones are still standing strong. I was at first disappointed with the mic volume and mic voice-input this was fixed in a later software patch. I actually had to buy a new strap band for the headphones because the synthetic leather had disintegrated. Apart from that the build quality and technology has withstood two years of heavy usage. The battery still works well and holds about 3 to 4 hours of intensive play but I’ve learned that decreasing sound slightly to 40% sounds very similar in game and changes the battery life. At the time I wanted 7.1 surround sound because of the advertising and price however the headphones are not bad at all and they have grown on me as a trusty headset. 4.5 star out of 5

Not optimal for fps
Update after 3 years and 1 month: Microphone is now nearing end of life, thus the headset overall is nearing end of life as I won't be using just the headphones. Unmuting when I flip the mic down takes somewhere between 1 and 24 attempts to actually unmute, constant static and popping when I manage to unmute, iffy sensitivity and volume. Update after 2 years and 9 months: Still a great headset and definitely worth the 5 stars for its price point. Battery is still going strong despite heavy daily use, no noticable issue with sound quality, build quality seems sturdy still with no creaking or breaks. The band that sits on top of your head has a little faux leather coated pad on it, all the faux leather coating will peel off in little black flakes eventually- so if you're blonde you'll look as ridiculous as I did. I used tweezers, a wash cloth and rubbing alcohol to peel and scrub the rest of the faux leather coating off the band. It's a soft microfibre fabric underneath that's 100x better than the faux leather, so not sure why the coating was even there. The foamy ear pieces started looking a little tatty after 2 years wear and semi regular washing, so I bought generic replacements from Amazon. Changing them was pretty easy and there was a noticeable comfort upgrade from the original ones. I just bought whatever had the highest rating and a lot of sales. Despite my best efforts with trying all sorts of different settings, the directional audio never improved. I did get used to the sound quality so it's now a lot easier to tell direction than at the start where I was completely lost. Still, not as pinpoint accurate as the Sennheiser Game One, they are several classes above and it's not even remotely close. When time comes to replace this headset I will be buying a Sennheiser headset again, just for the slight edge in more competitive games where audio is so important for an early cue. My reaction time is not what it used to be, so I need my headset to be able to give me as early and as accurate warnings as possible. The most comfortable headset I have ever used, incredibly light and yet a quality build. Doesn't pinch, pull or press, and wearing them for hours upon hours out of the box was no trouble. I wear glasses under the headset, this has caused no irritation at all for me- although I do have lightweight and thin frames. It's filtering out most the background noise from our home, I can't hear the door bell or TV but I can hear the dog barking. Out of the box this headset does NOT have good sound for FPS/survival. The depth/direction is impossible to pinpoint. Where I (with Sennheiser Game One) used to be able to point out shots on the exact number on the compass, I now will have a sort of "south-south west ish" sort of idea where sounds are coming from. And the distance is much harder to pinpoint. Out of the box they could be anywhere, even above me, it was a complete mess. To combat this you HAVE TO install Dolby Atmos via the Windows Store, it will then auto-sort the license and apply spatial sound in Windows. You can then tweak it in the Dolby app to sound much better for whatever game you are playing. Before doing this I literally couldn't tell if the sound came from left or right, it was just everywhere and above all at once. Some sounds will sound more metal-y and "thin" than you are used to if you are coming from a higher quality headset, and with the added Dolby Atmos the overall sound levels will be a bit lower than it is from the box. Still more than loud enough though, as it's borderline too loud out of the box. For playing strategy games, watching youtube, chatting etc, it's an amazing headset and needs very little adjustments. It's ready to go with the iCUE software, where there are a couple presets to choose from. The microphone is great out of the box, needed nothing at all. It does mute itself sometimes a couple times a week, I don't know why, I just have to troubleshoot the mic in windows and it will unmute it. Turn off all and any light effects to have longer battery life. The battery isn't that big, likely to ensure it's a lightweight headset. Any lighting will drain the battery and you don't see the lights anyway. I have it all off, when I am on a gaming binge I easily get 8 hours of play time and still not fully depleted at that point. I see others mentioning only getting 6 hours out of them but that has not been the case for me. You can choose how long it will stay active before automatically shutting off, which is great, I put mine to 10 minutes but could probably do with just 5 to save even more battery. Turns on in 2 sec anyway. All in all I am very pleased with the headset, just wish the positional audio was a lot better as I do play a lot of FPS/survival games where that is key. If that part of the audio was on point from the start this would be a smash hit for me. I will keep this as it's super comfy and I needed to go wireless, and the audio is good enough now that it's been tweaked. I would recommend getting this on a discount/from the Amazon warehouse if you are getting it. If positional audio is more important to you and you can miss a little of the comfort, the Pro X is maybe the better choice in the same price range.

Much better than anticipated
I'm genuinely impressed with this headset. It's very comfortable, the build quality is excellent, the mic is excellent, and the sound is... very decent! My main headphones are a pair of sennheiser HD800S, so you could say I'm somewhat a picky listener. Don't get me wrong, the corsairs are nowhere near on par with the Sennheisers, why would it be? Those are pretty much as good as it gets as far as headphones go, but price to performance with the Corsair is genuinely exceptional. Most importantly for me is the timbre, how natural the audio is, and the Corsair really hit the nail on the head here. Add the Dolby Atmos for some gimmicky 3D audio, or EQ them to have more bass or treble, you really can't go wrong. Highly recommend these

Good sound, poor quality.
I bought this headset in April 2023. In February 2025, I had to buy new ear pads because the mesh fabric on one of the originals came unglued. In June 2025, I had to replace the headband pad because the original had lost its firmness and its covering started to peel and disintegrate. A couple of months ago, the speaker in the right earcup lost power and sounds quieter, and if you look at the photos, the headband has micro-cracks on both sides. The battery hasn't degraded, or at least I haven't noticed it. I use the headset for about five hours daily during the week and about ten or twelve hours each day at the weekend. In terms of audio quality, I'm happy, although I think all the credit goes to the Dolby Atmos plugin, but in terms of build quality I feel disappointed, as I expected a higher-quality, more durable product from Corsair for the £128 I paid, and after three years of use I'm going to have to replace it.

Really good short term... but not a keeper for the long term
UPDATE: Have now changed my review to 1* instead of 3* as the issues are just piling up and product is becoming unbearable. Constant disconnecting, turn PC on and the headset stops working, software glitches, random cut outs. Awful product that is plagued by terrible software. Decent hardware but can’t use it so it’s pointless. Avoid at all costs. Original review is below. Overall the headset is really quite good. The sound quality is really nice and crisp, good bass levels and perfect for everyday use. If you use it wired then it is flawless. The battery is also good on the wireless headset so you will not need to charge it often. The problem lies with the wireless part of the headset. When I first had it (around 12 months ago) the headset connected well and was always flawless. But, overtime it has been glitching A LOT. So for instance I would turn my computer on, put the headphones on and it works fine. Go and do something for 5 min and the headset goes into sleep mode (save on battery). Then when I go to turn it back on, sometimes it may glitch out and not connect to my computer and the iCue software does not recognise its on or connecting or anything. The only way to solve this is by connecting a wire to the computer to re-establish a connection. Not happy with that and it seems to be more frequent the longer I have owned the device. Now if this was happening 5+ years into ownership then okay fair enough but less than a year? Pathetic really. The audio settings sometimes also change so I am having to go back into the iCue software and change my audio settings as I notice my bass has changed etc. Additionally, the range is a bit mediacore (would be nice to move around the house and stay connected) but its enough to go to the next room etc but so cannot complain too much. Would I recommend these in the wireless version? Probably not, just save a bit more money and get yourself something better unless you are buying the wired version. Maybe they have fixed this in the new ones? I personally would not risk it so be careful.

Short and sweet review for a great headset
I don't feel like much needs to be written about this headset because I've fully fallen in love with it. The main reason being the microphone, man it sounds better than a lot of wired headsets I've had in the past and blows the majority of the wireless competitors out the water, some of which cost way more than this. Battery life is great, charging is quick enough, you can always use it plugged in via USB C if you forget to keep it topped up. I find it really comfortable, I have large ears and it doesn't cause much discomfort and they still fit inside the cups. The headband is great and I've worn it for hours without feeling discomfort or getting hot ears. Audio quality is great, getting the right EQ for you in the ICUE software is recommended, you can click the volume wheel to cycle between profiles if that tickles your pickle. If you're an audiophile, it won't live up to much compared to a dedicated great wired headset and DAC, but for a wireless set it's definitely enough. Speaking of ICUE, it's probably one of the better software's out there, you can customise a far bit in the app itself, Corsair also offer this voice changing software you can use for free or pay for more voices if you're an aspiring vtuber or want to annoy your discord. If using with Discord, you'll want to fiddle with discords settings as it may interfere with how good the mic sounds. strong 5/5, no real gripes, could MAYBE look more stylish but Corsair have the Virtuoso line up, although the mics don't seem to be as good as the HS80's. But that's a very minor gripe for me.
