Expensive, but worth the purchase
Bottom line: If you purchase the beardscape, you won’t have to worry about buying another pair of trimmers for your beard for a long long time. While a $100 price tag may seem steep for a pair of trimmers, there are a few key details to keep in kind in what you’re getting with this product:1) This is a quality durable trimmer that’ll last for years, if you’ve bought cheaper trimmers before like me, you’re lucky for them to last a year or two and maintain their quality, you buy this and you’re set, don’t have to worry about replacing it.2) the features: you have 3 or 4 different blade speeds, a battery life that lasts way longer than you’ll ever need, it’s cordless, but If you do happen to run out of battery life, you can plug it in and it’ll work instantly, you don’t need to wait for the battery to charge. So far in my experience with it, no pulling, tugging or pushing, it’s a very clean, precise cut, this is a $100 investment that is worth the money, Brio’s got a recommendation from me.

This is a high quality trimmer
I thought I'd get some use from this before writing a review. My initial impressions were very positive as I am used to beard and body trimmers more in the 30-45 dollar price range with experience in even cheaper options (stay away from shavers less than 20 bucks). There are a few things that set this shaver apart from the less expensive alternatives.1. The cutting mechanism on this razer appears to be ceramic. Ceramic can maintain a very sharp cutting edge for a very long time (longer than metal in my experience) but is brittle making it not ideal for knives and other tools that may see harsh treatment. For a shaver? Perfect. The leading edge is metal to protect the blade allowing it to never actually touch your skin. This also allows it to avoid nicking you when pressed directly against your skin vertically (Think lining up your sideburns or other more sensitive areas).2. The micro-adjustments on this shaver are very good. There is a slide mechanism on the razers head that allows for very small adjustments. It also locks in place in case you get a little sloppy with your grip or finger placement while shaving. Speaking of micro-adjustments, you can actually adjust the motor speed of the trimmer to go from turbo-ish cutting power to something a little more smooth and easy for more sensitive areas. This is also a feature that I love on this trimmer.3. The battery life appears to be excellent. While I've only owned this a couple of weeks, I use it almost daily and so far I have not had to charge it once. Big plus. There is a digital readout on the trimmer that gives you some stats like speed and charge and it still looks great. The only downside I can see for this trimmer is that It is not waterproof. I do not shave in the shower so that feature isn't a deal-breaker for me but I do like to occasionally rinse the head off and I know this trimmer requires care of precision if I am going to be doing that. This is not a big enough downside for me though to not give this trimmer 5 stars since it does state upfront that it is not waterproof. If you've been using inexpensive trimmers that after months of use begin to pull or tug on your hair instead of the experience you got when it was brand new, have a trimmer with less than stellar battery life, or just want to try what a premium trimmer feels like and stop buying new trimmers every year or two, Id seriously considers getting this one. It's fantastic.

Only used once so far, worked like a charm
Purchased as a better solution to trimming facial hair rather than my electric shaver's precision trimmer. Like to trim it down to a short or fine stubble then use a razor to get extra close. My current shaver and previous ones before it just pulled hair and the teeth with leave my skin with tiny red marks where they had been. Just not a fun experience as one can imagine. Finally pulled the trigger for this and right out of the box put it to use. My beard was longer than I have ever had it, but a decent margin. Length was, I would estimate of the longest, good almost 2". I was dreading cutting it off as I knew my razor would be useless and the memories of my skin getting all red and painful after when using my electric shaver were burned into my memory. Not to mention the time it usually takes to try and minimize the damage to my face. The Brio, on 1.9mm setting, lowest RPM, cut the hair so effortlessly and easily I had a hard time not laughing at how easy it was. Went over it all again at 1.0mm right after, took a few minutes. Bing bang boom. Got definition into my side burns, did my upper and bottom lip just fine, no snags, made sure to pull the skin just that little bit and got nice even length across my whole face. Teeth left no marks on my skin, heck, wasn't even pinkish there was no irritation. Will update if needed after subsequent usage but it has been a worthwhile purchase so far.Buying tips: IT IS NOT FOR WET SHAVING/IN THE SHOWER. Is not shower rated or whatever you might call it. Needs oil but they provide a little bottle in the box and the device gives you an alert when it is needed. Obviously won't give you baby smooth shave, will leave a nice stubble look/length you can finish off or keep.

Very good trimmer, but has few drawbacks
This is a very good trimmer. Well built, comfortable and very quiet irrespective of what speed you use, which I think is its main strength. Battery life is very good. Fine adjustments to hight are very precise and lock well in place. Have no issues trimming my beard. However, there are to main drawback, which are the reason I didn't rate it 5 stars:1. It doesn't come with a detachable cutting blade and a second narrow cutting blade as you find in most trimmers. So if you need finer trimming jobs like mustaches over your top lip you'll need to get yet another trimmer that has a narrow blade. This is very inconvenient. I would prefer to have one trimmer which does it all.2. Attachments to adjust cutting hight are hard to lock in place. It take few tries until you get it in place.Otherwise, I would recommend this product if absence of a narrow cutting blade is not an issue. I used a Wahl cordless trimmer before and I absolutely hate it because it's noisy and vibrations that you feel in your hand aver very annoying.
