Not like the old days but close. These seem less flavorful that the original, and harder than the original. Still, they are pretty darn good and I managed to get myself hooked on em ! Wish they were more soft, like the original. I'll bet they would sell more if they were. Not sure if the hardness is because they are old or it's just the way they are making them.

As a child, I remember my grandmother having a jar of these next to her. They are the same as those I remember. The peppermint taste is wonderfully soothing. When they are fresh, and they usually are, they melt in your mouth. I just love them.

Canada wintergreen mints. I ate so many of these as a kid in the 1950s, I credit them for causing my first cavity. I should have brushed more. I love em.. These particular mats were fresh, not old, nasty, hard ando tasteless as with other vendors.

My grandmother always had a candy bowl full of these when I was a kid. Haven't seen them in years till I found them on Amazon. I ordered them and was surprised to find out they taste just as good today as they did back then 50 years ago.. a must try if you've never tasted before.
