Goof OffGSX00101 1 Gallon Rust Stain Remover (Pack of 2)

Worked well at removing rust stains from home roof. Need to take safety precautions like mask, eye protection and rubber gloves as solution is caustic. Very expensive for a Canadian resident since it is not carried by Home Depot as it is in the USA. Only available on-line from a few Canadian distributors to avoid considerable duty cost if ordering from US. Arrived promptly and delivered to door.

Our white fence was badly stained with iron from our in-ground sprinklers. My husband sprayed the fence and we could watch the iron disappear in seconds! No scrubbing, no wiping, we just rinsed it with our garden hose. We just ordered more so we can keep the fence white and bright through the sprinkling season!

I have really bad rust on my siding and I thought it was so bad I would have to replace it but wow, this really works! My garden sprayer wouldn't work so I just put it on a rag and applied a little elbow grease and this.was my result!!! After I got a new sprayer, I sprayed the one side in like 2 minutes and it removed the rust as I turned back to look before I went to the other side. Wow.

This item is not sold in any of the local big box stores. I guess because it works sooooo well and is so inexpensive! We have a well that gives us this horrible yellow staining on everything the water touches. I pour this product into my pump up pressure washer, spray it on once wetting throughly, walk around the house checking for areas including the side walks, and if any stains are left by then, I simply spray again! GONE! Do use care not to get it on your plants, it will burn them, but easy to just throw a cover on top or just be careful while spraying. Just bought another 3 gallons to keep on hand, and gave one to the neighbor for his yellow siding. Great product! You should buy it!

This product worked great but if your sprinklers continue to spray the rust will re-appear within days. Great to prepare for a party but expensive solution for daily use. I think a combination of iron filter and this product is the right solution.
