I have mixed thoughts about this set of RAMs so I decided to divide this review into two parts for you to decide whether to get them or skip!Pros:- Kingston is a very popular brand and they make some robust quality products. This one is no exception and it does function flawlessly and looks well-built.- The latency is very low which means this RAM is very fast in terms of processing operations. This is indicated by the CL10 code.- It is DDR3 which can be a Pro and Con the same time. It is compatible with more motherboards than a DDR4 RAM for instance.Cons:- 2 sets of RAM stick at 4GB each seems quite discouraging for the game requirements of 2021. If you are running light games that do not require much performance then this will be fine. If your game are very heavy in terms of system requirements then 8GB isn't enough for you. If you do photo/video editing then 8GB isn't enough at all.- The price matches that of a 16GB stick from competitive brands.- Base speed is 1866MHz which isn't very impressive considering that my current set runs at 3200MHz.Your choice, your decision. It functions as expected, but is it the ideal one for you? It's for you to decide.

Thank you...🤗 )Is it Premier League ⚽?Or is it more Sunday League 🌻?Will I get a lovely cup of tea 🍵, at any point during this review?Well... the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should take a closer look... 👀...It arrives in a pack, nicely packaged, without too much excess packaging.It makes a good first impression.Out of the box, and the contents are easy to catalogue :▪️ 2 x Black 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 Desktop MemoryNice and simple.Just like me.No... wait... not just like... dammit...The memory comes in two sticks, each one 4GB of memory.They are both identical.They look the business.Clad in black, they look mean, moody, and sleek.RAM has never looked so good.It is a shame it all get hidden away... Unless you have a flashy clear case, in which case, these RAM sticks will look brilliant in your showy case.Mine gets stashed away in the bowels of my PC.If my PC has bowels...?They are both DDR3, with a speed of 1833Hz.Upgrading RAM should always be completed in matching pairs, so this pair of sticks is perfect to upgrade two slots at the same time with.4GB of RAM on each stick, will give you a very reasonable, and workable 8GB of RAM.Build quality is excellent.They are nicely put together, with tightly fitting components.They are low profile, and as such, are perfect for rigs that are tight for space.Each board features Plug and Play installation, and will slot in easily.Which makes setting them up easy.Simply slot the boards into the RAM slots on the motherboard, until they click into place (You may need to apply some pressure... go slowly and easily. Do not force them in.).Once in they are ready to use.No software, drivers, or any other updates are required.They will work straight away.Performance is brilliant.They are quick, error free, and they work perfectly.The only downside, is the price, which for some years, has been wildly fluctuating, due to volatile chip prices. It is hard to predict whether this is a low point price, or whether waiting will see price drops.The fact is though...If you need RAM, you need RAM... so you should buy it now.It is hard to say whether these RAM sticks are good value, or not.I would buy them, safe in the knowledge that they are good quality, rather than good value.Overall, these sticks of RAM are excellent.They are well-designed, they look great, and they work perfectly.A matched pair of RAM that you can count on.I am happy to recommend it, am a proud owner, and I use it in my rig.Now... My Gaming PC which I use on a daily basis was starting to slow down and I realised that it was time for a RAM upgrade. As someone that enjoys making PC games on my laptop as well as alternating between gaming and graphic design on consumption heavy softwares such as Photoshop, I needed a proper upgrade and this memory kit by Kingston was exactly what I needed.This DDR3 FURY Beast Black RAM sticks give drastically improved my work flow and gaming experience, where no longer do my softwares crash or freeze. This could easily be because of the drastic improvement in performance and overall higher processing speeds. For exact metrics, power consumption has dropped by 40% (in comparison to the previous version DDR2) with a performance and bandwidth boost of 50%.hahahahaha This set includes 2x4 GB RAM sticks however this listing on Amazon by Kingston allows for some serious customisation so this can change to your tailored liking. It is also easy to install, first remove your old RAM sticks carefully by pushing down on the clip on the side of the ram stick on the motherboard and lifting them out. To install the new RAM sticks, simply push them into the slot on your motherboard until you hear a click. Though please ensure your Desktop PC is off when doing this and any unsaved work is backed up and saved.Overall, excellent quality by a reputable brand. 5 stars!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

These sticks do the business for cache and read speeds.They look cool which I know makes no difference but does start the impression well, they fit perfectly into the DDR3 slots and are picked up straight away by the BIOS and auto recognised by windows.The performance is slick, much faster than the previous sticks I had and they are consistent in performance according to the bench test app.Memory usage on the windows task manager shows a good turnaround but it's mainly the feel these things give which is a slick meaty running machine.They aren't cheap but no decent memory is, I definitely recommend spending that extra and getting the added performance.

This is solid, competitively priced memory that hits its rated speed and timings with no issues. The heatspreaders are good looking and the product seems to be well assembled and generally of good quality.While it is probably obvious to most, it's worth noting that this is DDR3 RAM, not DDR4, which at the time of writing is the most common PC RAM standard. It's not compatible with DDR4 systems, so be sure to check this is right for you before ordering.
