Yes I Can!: A Kid's Guide to Dealing with Physical Challenges (Elf-Help Books for Kids) Paperback – April 1, 2010

From the outside and book description, this book sounds promising. However, as soon as we opened it, we were disappointed. For one thing, it reads more like a brochure you'd pick up at a doctor's office than a story a child might enjoy. In other words, it is very heavy-handed. Secondly, there is a major God-bent. If you are a religious person, obviously this isn't going to bother you. However, it is not a good fit for our family and I was very irritated that there was no mention of this in the book's description.... We will not be reading it to our daughter.
