Weathered Grey Finish Wood Wall Corner 5-Tier Bookshelf Bookcase Accent Etagere

This shelf definitely is a good one for the price!We have struggled to find a good corner shelf system for this smaller corner of our dining room. Our space is just about 26in deep and 30in wide, and we wanted a display/functional space that also allowed us to get to the deck light switch. I had a bakers rack that filled the back wall and covered the switch, though it was easy to reach through or behind to get to it, but its rectangular footprint meant it stuck out into our walk path to the sliding doors, and to get around the end chair closer to the doors.I ordered this expecting this to be a crutch to figure out our final solution for this space. Considering it’s low price, and looking like it could be flimsy, I had concerns about what I could put on it.First: when it comes to assembly, if you can do it on carpet, I think it would help to make sure the edges of the print veneer don’t fray. Make sure to follow the directions closely, and pay attention to the illustrations, it will guide you to make sure the angled feet of the base are pointed the correct way, even though the writing doesn’t point that out. Look for the numbers and if the overlap on the lower portion is on the top or bottom (it will make sense when you are looking at the directions.Next, as you begin to assemble the shelves to the legs, follow the order so you get consistent angles. Also, you can use a generous pea-sized blob of glue on each dowel.When you go to install the second leg, have someone assist or be very careful and lock the leg in your arms as you sit it to the dowels, I had it slip off and one end swung up and smacked me in the face. Learn from my mistake!Quick note: this is of course made of particle board, but it’s pretty dense and sturdy. The fasteners (screws, dowels, bolts and bolt channels) are all pretty solid and make this all feel pretty stable as long as you don’t over tighten, which you can still make these very snug.There are very nice, thick, veneer stickers to cover all screw holes for the frame. As I started to assemble the shelves to the legs I realized that the top shelf does not cover the top of the legs, which do not have a veneer finish on top. I’m not sure if this is a design flaw or they count on the fact that this is tall enough that the average person would not see it when standing up. There are no veneer stickers/caps for the tops here, and that’s my only disappointment.BUT if you place this near stairs or an open-air upper level, you’ll see the unfinished ends. My situation will not be an issue.Conclusion:This is a sturdy case, though narrow, so I definitely recommend using an anti-tip wall tether. I opted to use a Safety1st wall clip that has a clasp so I can easily move the shelf for when we touch-up our baseboard paint. It uses adhesive rather than molly-screws into the wall.The manual for assembly does not give you weight ratings for the shelf, but it can handle a substantial amount of weight. I had hopes of storing my KitchenAid stand mixer (weighs about 25lbs) on here, but it was too tall, by about an inch, but I believe it would have held it fine weight-wise.The shelves are 12.75in high. As you can see on the bottom shelf, it holds my magazine holder with less than an inch to spare (it is 12in tall). My InstantPot Ultra has about 1/2in of clearance.I think if you are on a budget, this is a great corner case, and it looks pretty nice. I would steer clear if you plan to have this near stairs where you’ll be able to look down on the top due to the lack of veneer on the top of the legs, unless you attempt to paint to match.

GREAT LOOKING BOOKSHELF! It is a perfect size for my office. The book shelf came in a medium sized box and it was not heavy. Instead of assembling and then transporting (which I got into the back of my car truck with the seat down), I would suggest just assembling it where you will be displaying it. It took me an hour to put it together. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. The "rails" and shelves are marked with small numbers on the ends (look for them). Just make sure all your shelves wood grains are going in the same direction. Stability strap was not needed, as you place items on the shelves, it will be very sturdy. As you assemble the 3-screw sets on the rails, you will come across a few holes that don't seem to match up exactly. All you need to do is, install the screws first that the holes match up perfectly, which will help the other ones to do so. On 2- of the holes, I had to take my "flat-head" screw driver, and just widdle some wood filler out of the slot to get it to open up. When screwing down any multiple screws, don't screw down one screw to the maximum at first. Screw down halfway all the screws, then go back to each one to screw down all the way. GOOD LUCK!

Just what I wanted! This was SO easy to put together! It looks great and has good quality, not to mention the price was affordable! It is definitely sturdy! Very, very happy with my new corner bookshelf! Still working on decorating it the way I want or I'd post a pic!

I love the color! It goes perfectly with the new furniture I recently purchased. I needed something in one corner and this fit perfectly. My daughter assembled it for me because of some physical challenges I currently have. She did it with few issues although it takes two people to assemble. I assisted where I could. There was one screw that was larger than the others and could not be used. She placed the other two screws strategically as to hopefully keep the section from coming apart. It appears to be secure regardless. Inspection team must inspect a little more closely. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with this product!

The height and color (gray) was exactly what I wanted. It sits perfect in the corner of my living room. It wasn't easy for me to put together. But it was worth the time.

Nice look and value

Overall, well built and looks pretty good for the money and being off brand. Took about 30mins to put together.
