Critical to good performance of my Honda.
O.K. it's a bear to get to it so you can make the swap but stick with it as the result brings you back to "like new" performance. Dorman makes a quality part and you can trust and afford it! Allen head fasteners are much better for the part as space is too tight to deal with even a stubby phillips screwdriver. Much easier to install and adjust with an allen wrench.

Works on 04 Civic Ex
Installed on 04 Civic Ex, perfect fit and works. Easy to calibrate as long as you have a multimeter. Easiest way to install would be to remove throttle body but i didn’t want to at first and ended up having a hard time tightening the bolts due to lack of space. Took the throttle body off to clean it and calibrate the TPS, definitely a good deal for those of us who like to do our own work on our vehicles. Hopefully it holds up

Great easy fix!
Bought this to replace the TPS in my 2004 Honda Civic. Honda wants you to purchase an entire throttle body for 1200 plus labor due to the OEM torque snap bolts (shame on you honda). This was 28.00 and came with all the instructions to replace and adjust. You will need a dremel, a digital multimeter, and Fluke TP88 Rigid Back Probe Pin Set, 2" Length or equivalent. I partially removed the throttle body and covered the intake with a large rag. Cut a slot in the bolts with the dremel and remove with a flat tipped screw driver. A stubby #2 phillips will assist with installing the new bolts (unless you completely remove the throttle body). Upon installation, snug the new bolts, and adjust as the included instructions instruct :). Great product! This also cleared up hard shifting...which was making us worry about a transmission issue...very happy for companies like this!

Well worth it!
I installed this on an 05 Civic in January. The kit included everything I needed. It all fit the way it should. After the install, I let the car warm up without touching the throttle. I then disconnected the battery for a few minuets to reset the computer. After I reconnected everything, I restarted the still warm car and let it run for 30 minuets without touching the throttle. It ran fine after that. I still had it professionally calibrated, but this way I didn't worry about it while I drove it to the garage. After more than 3 months, I've had no problems.

Doesn’t fit 2006 CRV
Not for 2006 CRV. Photo on right is what I received. Photo on left is what it should be. Notice center of actuator.
