Recomendables! Buena calidad, llegaron pronto, bonitos, filosos, ligeros.. lo único que no me gusta es que las ranuras están muy juntas a la que corresponde a las tijeras y los cuchillos parecen muy “encimados “

Two years in to purchasing this set of knives and two have already broken. Avoid purchasing.

I had been wanting new knives for a few years but hadn’t bought any because I bought bad knives a couple times. When Consumer Reports reviewed the French knife from this set, I bought the 17 piece set and an additional paring knife. I love them all! The steak knives are sharp too! I plan to buy the remaining knives that didn’t come with this set and, I want another 8” French and another paring knife. We have 3 cooks in our house. 🤩 I’ll probably buy 6-12 more steak knives. I usually have silverware for 24 people. We have a big family. There is one thing I don’t like. The steak knives handle is small/thin. They’re a bit uncomfortable. After knowing that I still gave away my old knives. It’s not a deal breaker for us, just an honest review. The pictures with my hand are with a steak knife. My mom & sister hands aren’t as fat. They agree that the steak knives handles are uncomfortable.

I have handled some very fine food prep knives (Zwilling, Wusthof) but have not actually owned them and thus used them for a long period of time. I suspect that those brands are worth the money if you are a professional chef or a serious cook, as they handled very well. But for myself, who will definitely use these but is not REALLY serious about cooking, they are more than fine. They appear to be well-made, sharpen easily and appear to hold the edge well (provided of course, you do your part in caring properly for them). Made in China which might be a deal breaker for some but they are still good knives. I am happy with my purchase.

These forged premio knives are so balanced it makes fluting a mushroom, deboning and cutting chickens, carving and cutting bread a breeze. They are high quality and worth of the henckel name. I have zwilling knives and wusthof knives and these are comparable to those. I did notice that they dull a bit sooner than my zwilling and wusthof knives but if you use the honing steel that comes with the set at the end or begining of cutting (which I do anyways also with my Wusthof and Zwilling knives) it cuts much sharper and more precisely. Good for cutting tomatoes and make paring work super easy and these are easyto hold too. I use the santoku in my culinary class and with my chef's knife I can go ""all Nanta!" on my cutting cuttinf. Cuttung with two knives ar once. :)
