Velo OrangePorteur Handlebar

I flipped it over and put it in place of a flat bar road bike. I now have a very upright, nearly "Dutch" bike. Hand and wrist numbness is completely gone. This bar feels very light, high satin finish is attractive and the quality/durability look good for the long haul.

Replaced a standard commuter handlebar with this porteur handlebar for a slightly more upright riding position. Achieved that with the added bonus of looking cool!

Go with these handlebars! They are so comfortable! The way it is tapered, makes it natural for you to grasp while being in an upright position. Less strain on your back. Makes your bike ride a bit like a cruiser. My frame is a mixte and these bars really complete the look.

I had three other handlebars saved in my cart since I didn’t know which ones to get. I was researching all of them, trying to find images via Google images, didn’t want them to be too large or too small, I was obsessed to find my answers. Then I stumbled upon these bars, which made things even worst, because I loved the way they looked, but didn’t know how they would perform. I wanted a more upright position while riding, not lower.I said heck with it and just bought them. Thank God I did! They are perfect! They’re beautiful, light weight, and have that classy downward slop and just the right amount. I decided to flip them around so the bars rise upward (opposite from what the photos show). I get the perfect upright position while riding, but could flip them around like they’re intended to if I please to later on if I need to lean forward lower. Overall, they just have that classic look. I’ve received a good amount of compliments from other riders who’ve seen them since I’ve gotten them.You won’t regret purchasing them. Just pull the trigger and get them. Happy riding!
