This is a good cost vs grams of protein powder. It mixes well and the vanilla and chocolate taste good. I mix in my coffee in place of creamer and it works great. Price has gone up recently so Ive switched to a different brand, the added cost isnt worth the risk of trying new brands to me. When it goes back down Ill switch back to this

Good tasting protein shake for the price.

The flavor wasn’t the best and even newly opened had a little staleness to it, but there was a lot of it and it was worth the money for a decent protein. It had good mixability in a shaker cup, wasn’t too gritty, and was easy on the stomach. I’d probably buy it again, but I’m trying a few other brands first to see if there’s any that’s better at the price point.

Love the taste and the cookies and cream version mixed incredibly well in fat free milk. I also had the double chocolate version and for some reason was horrible in that it wouldn't blend very well. I'm unsure if it was that specific batch or if the flavor variation plays a role in such an aspect. This product is a bit pricy but I don't want to take a chance on an inferior product in order to save a few bucks. I've been using protein products for over 30 years now and this definitely in one of the best tasting products.

I have been bodybuilding for over 16 years now and i have had thousands of protein shakes! For me, if a protein shake tastes great with just mixing it with water... you got a winner!!! I have heard plenty of people say it's not about the taste if you are serious enough as a lifter. Well, if you have gag reflexes every time you drink your protein drink, chances are that you will not be drinking that protein for very long regardless of how serious of a lifter you are! You have to have something that tastes relatively good. Nitro Tech Whey Gold Double Rich Chocolate is amazing! Over the years i have been increasingly impressed with how much better the taste of MuscleTech's protein powders have gotten. In the past they were great quality protein, but didn't taste the best. Now Nitro Tech Whey Gold Performance Series tastes incredible! I like to use cool water in a shaker cup and it simply tastes amazing! Reminds me of a chocolate malt! It's like Christmas day for me when i discover a new protein that tastes great because they are hard to come by. If you are a taste bud chaser when it comes to protein... this is wonderful product that you will have you running back to make more protein drinks! Happy lifting!

Beats other products I've tried, flavor takes a little getting used to, but is great with a banana! You need less liquid than with other products, which I like.

I have been using this product for a year now and tested different flavors. Taste wise I would not say it is the best one out there but it is definitely drinkable and very affordable. My favorite is double rich chocolate flavor.

This is the second time I've bought this MuscleTech Whey Gold Protein Powder and got chocolate both times. No problem with the taste, however, the second container did not mix well at all. I wouldn't have bought it again if the first container mixed like this one. There is a coating of little brown & white "balls" (don't know what else to call them!) that sit on top of the liquid, no matter how much I mix it up. It's so thick that, when I put ice cubes in, they just sit on top, I have to use a spoon to "break through"! It still tastes good, but it's certainly not as enjoyable as when it mixes up completely like the first order did. Anybody else have this problem? I checked the bottom of the container for an expiration date and it's 2025 so no problem there. I don't have any stomach issues or anything after drinking it, it's just inconvenient. Maybe I just got a bad batch? Or could they have changed the ingredients? Looking through recent reviews, I don't see anyone else writing about this so, who knows!
