The one and only. Accept no substitutes!
Years ago I received a secondhand Keurig from my local "everything free" group. It was the original model, a big sucker. Definitely more firepower than I needed but so powerful and dominant I could not resist it. That machine became vital to my ADHD morning routine. No more spilling stuff everywhere, no more folded-over coffee filter and cup full of grounds and water. No more being late because I had to babysit my coffee maker. I could just pop the pod in, press a button, and go. My life was improved. That machine was an absolute workhorse but sadly after constant use it began shutting itself off and not restarting. It was time to move on. I initially purchased a knock-off k-cup machine. It promised that it would make both iced and hot coffee for $20 less. It wove a web of lies that ensnared me. I won't get into what was wrong with it, that is for another review. What I will say is that I returned it promptly and ordered this brand new fancy baby Keurig. This machine, which I will call K-Pod Demon Hunter, heats quickly -- like almost immediately. It brews a perfect cup every time. It makes pleasant noises while it works that let me know it's happy. I am also happy. We are happy together, like the song. The only thing I do not like about this machine is the color. It was on sale because it's a "holiday color" but it is not attractive. It is ugly. It's the color you see in winter coats on sale. Your chain-smoking great aunt who is obsessed with true crime and criticizes your life choices but may leave you some money when she dies has a jacket in this color. It's neither red nor purple nor magenta. It has a touch of brown but it's not rust. Nobody likes this color. Nobody has ever liked this color. It's not a color that will become retro at any point. This color is neither pleasing to the eye nor soothing to the spirit. But I'm not perfect either and K-pod Demon Hunter accepts me as I am. I am writing this review in a different room so it can't hear me and feel hurt. Perhaps over time I will learn to love this color because I love the machine in which it is swathed. Unlikely, but they say that love can work miracles. Reader, I wish you all the best in your coffee journey. I hope that you find love like I did with K-Pod Demon Hunter. Heed my words and do not be tempted by off-brand substitutes and their beautiful lies. They won't understand you. They won't respect you. They won't be there for you and your time of need like K-Pod Demon Hunter is for me. I want you to have what I have. Your happiness is important to me.

Perfect unit for a caffeine-hooked family
The unit is probably the best Keurig system we have ever used. It is just the right size in that the water reservoir holds about four cups worth of water. The single serve has 3 brew sizes and a safety feature that prevents running when there is not enough water for another cup. Our system runs continuously as we each drink from 3 to 5 cups a day. Really simple to use and very flexible features. Also it runs its own descaling protocol; we used straight white vinegar instead of a purchased Keurig product with great cleaning action. As a note, I am a clean water person and the water is never left over-night for the next day. The small-scale of this unit makes it possible to easily keep the water container clean and air-dried every night...

Great Quality For Your Money!
I love this coffee machine! I have been wanting one for years, but I could not afford it or the pods. This went on sale and I grabbed it, as it had been in my cart since before Christmas. It was a quick and easy setup right out the box, and the first cleaning process was simple. I thought I would have to use the “strong” brew button, because I do like a stronger cup of coffee, but my coffee came out perfect! To me, it’s much better than boiling water every morning for my instant coffee. It’s fast, very minimal noise as it brews, and I’ve made three cups of coffee so far, and there’s still plenty of water in the reservoir for another 3-4 cups. This is using your standard coffee cup, that is. I love the color and the clean lines. For the price, the quality of the coffee maker is superb. To me, it’s compact enough to bring on trips if I ever felt the need. This fits in so perfectly with my decor, and it’s not big and bulky, taking up a lot of space on my countertop. When I looked for this particular one in stores where I live, I could never I can’t wait to use it each morning.

Works fine, but...
I've had this in operation as a home office convenience for a few days now and makes pretty good coffee. It replaces a larger tank Keurig machine that lasted about five years before springing some kind of an internal leak that made a bit of a mess. I figured a 42 oz tank would be sufficient and this less expensive model seemed to do just about as much as the larger machine did. My only disappointment is that I can't fully utilize the 42 ounces of tank capacity because once the water level falls below 10 ounces the machine shuts down until you refill the tank. So, it really has only about a 32-ounce effective capacity.

Great product overall!
My mom absolutely loves this! It's has a great color, pretty straight-forward to use and it's super compact so it's not taking up a lot of counter space. It is also pretty quiet so you can't hear it in the other room. I will say, if you use it throughout the day, you will be filling it up quite often as the tank is relatively small. So, its great for 1-2 cups of coffee a day, but more than that and you'll be refilling it on the same day.

Very disappointed.
First, an introduction, this will take some going through, bear with me. First, I had refused for years to get a Keurig, as I did not feel the quality and richness of a good strong cup of coffee was possible. But I finally got tired of trying other methods of brewing, from using a regular single cup espresso maker, moka pot, pour over, French press... I finally opted for the ease of a Keurig mini-plus. Coffee was ...eh... I switched coffee brands, to what I feel has to be the best commercial brand. And the coffee was EXcellenT! About a year later, despite regular cleaning cycles, the thing just stopped working. I tried to take it apart, watched some youtube videos which just solidified the fact that the company made these non-serviceable. P.O.'d at this obvious tactic to sell more, I waited a few weeks, but went and got another one. Same deal a year later. Another one. This last one gave me signs before ending it's own life. I would have to run several cycles where nothing would come out... till finally something... drip... by drip... several hours later, the thing would start running again, only to stop again the next day or two. Finally, it just died. So I REFUSED to get another. These things are ridiculous, right? So I got a new French press. Coffee is great!! But... omg... what a pain cleaning that thing every.... single... time... I mean, really, it's no big deal. But, it CAn be. So I saw this thing on sale, I thought, well, it's HAlf the price of the other ones... and I def want something different this time. Cut to now.... This thing has SEVERAL issues that I don't like. First of all, it is a thinner cheaper plastic, and has a cheap looking shine to it. Ok, I'm over it. The plastic... I mean, can't they make these things with glass reservoirs.... the plastic reservoir has screws on the inside of it. I don't care if they say it is food safe... Plastic is also considered food safe... but that doesn't mean it is.. those are just bureaucratic rhetoric lies. But I digress,...So this coffee maker has an adjustment for high altitude... is THAT what ruined my previous Keurigs? High altitude? Hmmm. Ok, so maybe that's a plus. It also has different sizes that you can choose -8,10, & 12 oz. With the mini-plus, you choose the size by the amount of water you pour in. That means that this one measures what it sucks in. Hmmm. The mini-plus had the controls on the top. Easy peasy. This one has the controls on the side. It also doesn't have rubber feet on the bottom. So when you try to push the buttons, the thing slides away from you. Impossible to push any buttons with one hand, you have to use two. Even with rubber feet, you have to use two hands. I'm not a paraplegic, but it's rather stupid to have to hold the thing to press a button or two, or three. Which is what you have to do. It's just really awkward because you really have to hold it in the back to keep it from moving when you press the button in front. And you have to do that without touching the reservoir, which will pop out if you tried that. But let's get to the coffee. So with the mini-plus, the first liquid out of the machine, was dark coffee. As it was finishing, the coffee would be a little more clear, but not pure water. With this machine, for the first few seconds, it is spewing out crystal clear WATER. I don't even know how that is possible. But this, it does. It also claims to be faster than the mini-cup. I hestitate to say "brews faster", because it doesn't brew, Keurigs simply spew water into and through the k-cup, it's a pressurized system, not a true brewing system. And it definitely IS faster. And that's a problem, as evidenced by the watery coffee that it spews out. Sure enough, the "coffee" tastes like water. This is the 8 oz brew, mind you, with the machine set to "strong". I first tried the 12oz, and ended up pouring it down the sink. The 8 oz wasn't much better. My next step is to switch out cups while it's pouring out the water at the beginning of the cycle and see if I can get a stronger "brew". All in all, it's convenient enough. But it will sit on my counter, mostly unused, for when I have those really lazy, sleepy, or sick days, when all I want to do is pop in a capsule, and deal with the rest of it... Very disappointed. Perhaps if you live in a low altitude area, the mini-plus would work for you. I really do recommend that one above this.

Great Little Coffee Maker
This is a great little Keurig machine. Great for a small kitchen. It is instantly on, brews coffee in seconds, is quiet and makes a great cup of coffee. I like the fact that it will make a small cup of only 8 oz, too! And the coffee comes out really hot! My husband has found that it does not work well with the refillable plastic cups, however.

Works Fast and Delicious Brew for Coffee, Tea & Hot Cocoa!!!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE this Keurig K-Express Single Serve coffee maker!!! I first ordered two other coffee makers that were off brands and returned them for different reasons. I wanted another Keurig but decided against it after reading the negative reviews even though they had several good reviews, too. After the off brands didn't work out, I decided to take my chances with the Keurig K-Express, and I'm sooooo glad I did!!! It looks and fits great on our kitchen counter, it's very easy to use, it has an 8, 10 & 12 ounce cup option, a "strong" button, an "on/off" button, an "add water" button, and a "descale" button. It makes coffee, tea or hot cocoa in about 6 seconds, tops!!! The water reservoir holds 42 ounces and fits on the back. After you fill and attach the water reservoir, plug it in, and once you open the lid to insert the kcup and shut the lid, the machine automatically turns on. All you need to do is make sure your mug is underneath and select the button for the number of ounces. It starts heating the water quickly, and within 6 seconds, it's pouring your coffee or tea or hot cocoa. If you make hot cocoa, the instructions say that after you make it, you should remove the used kcup and then run the machine again with just water to clean out any thick chocolate residue. Simple! We've only had this for 3 or 4 days, but so far, we are thrilled with it and would definitely buy the same one again in the future. I hope this one lasts for at least 3 or 4 years, and I highly recommend this Keurig K-Express!!!
