Underwater Audio Waterproof iPod Swimbuds Bundle, (Silver)

I got the product on time. The headphones do work underwater which makes swimming much more enjoyable. I am also the only person at my pool to use this so I get a lot of weird stares. I do find that the music quality does have a slight echo which is slightly bothersome but tolerable. I also had to change out the default ear buds to larger ones provided since they will pop out (especially if you push off too hard). Using bigger ear pieces does help keep them in. The only probelm is that one of the earpieces apparently stopped/barely works while the other works normally. It will only provide a slight bass sound to the music. This leads to sound only really coming out of one ear which can be disturbing to a workout. If I could get the earpiece to work normally and stay working normally, then I would easally give it a 5 star rating. If it works, it makes swimming much more enjoyable.

I bought mine exactly 2 years ago. Great product that works exactly as how its advertised. Unfortunately, it does not last very long. Mine died just a little after 1 & half years. Tried to get it fixed myself (as I don't live in the US and mailing it there is a lot of hassle), but was unsuccessful. I still thought it was a worthwhile purchase, I just think folks buying this should be aware that the product might not last as long as you think it would, and that you might have to be prepared to buy a new one after a while if you're someone who can't swim without some music.

I loved the underwater audio for the first 10 months of owning them. Then they just quit working and the company offers a pittance to exchange them after I spent $300 to buy them less than a year ago. Great for the company and horrible for customers. I guess I’m a slow learner because I did the same thing a few years ago with the same product but decided I would try again because I do love them when they work. So now I am basically out $300 again and possibly get $65 in credit if they can repair it or $40 cash. Have to take cash because NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Amazon shouldn’t even sell their products either.What a sham and it’s possible this is criminal as their products always stop working!

I've been swimming for years and the tedium of it is sometimes very deterring.Now I'll start off and say I am not an Apple fan and I have avoided their products mainly due to the Ecosystem (iTunes...).So I'll start with the iPod Shuffle and the Apple earphones - they're both fine and they do what they're supposed to.The Apple ear phones have a very short chord which I find annoying and they sound OK.I found they don't fit that perfectly in my ear and annoy me after about 30 minutes.You can get finer sounds of the Shuffle by adding a pair of better quality earphones.iTunes has improved a lot to their credit and I can no longer consider it "virusy" in nature as a program.The Shuffle works as advertised.As for the Underwater Audio headphones and the Shuffle in the water:Swimming with this will just knock your socks off!!Underwater audio and Apple have managed to produce a dream gadget in my opinion.I swam my usual laps and then some...because just when you feel you're done some amazing tune kicks in and helps you push your limits some more.The earphones stay in your ears no matter what style you swim or how fast.This is in the water so don't expect audiophile quality, but you can hear everything clearly and it improves the experience immensely.The Shuffle works perfectly in the water!!I recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their swimming experience - this will rock your workout.

My unit was "used, very good condition" from Amazon warehouse deals. It wouldn't keep a charge and then died the second time I used it in the pool for laps.

Update 6-2016 Wanted to update my last review and let prospective buyers know that this company has excellent customer service! After a couple months of daily use one earbud started having poor sound quality. Since my return window had expired with Amazon, I contacted the Underwater Audio directly and explained my issue. They promptly responded with some troubleshooting methods and in my case when those didn't work, they offered to send me a replacement ear bud set free of charge. Real good people over there making an excellent product. If your in the market for some underwater tunes, this is the place to go.Let's face it- swimming in a pool is pretty boring, and this audio system is a good purchase to get you through those times when you really don't want to go. Initially I was skeptical about how this would work especially with flip turns but the earbuds stay in without an issue. The music quality is also good. If you put just a little bit of aquaphor on the ear buds they seal nicely. I doubt these are good for diving but they definitely make a long set less painful. Hope this helps.

The greatest thing to enter my fitness arsenal since using a heart monitor. You will never get over the sound of music underwater. It's made swimming so easy for me I obsessively do it one to two hours a night. You do not need therapy when you have this! It literally melts your days trouble away. I use goggles and a snorkel so I don't have to come up for air. This allows me to do long term cardio... with no pain in my joints (a constant normally). I keep a bottle of water by the pool because I get so dry i forget just hit hard i am working... it's more than the most fun I have ever had training... and because I do it for so long... it reduces my gym time and I have never looked or felt better. If you need a change and need a driving force with you when you train. You will not regret this purchase! It's next level training equipment!

I’ve only used this for 6 weeks, I’ve read reviews of them going wrong, so it’s early days! BUT, it’s brilliant. I swam once a week and found myself counting how many lengths I was doing and always looking forward to finishing. The thought of going swimming more than once per week sent me cold....too boring. I bought this iPod nano and I now go 3 times a week, swim harder, faster and for longer and I’m never bored now. Admittedly the cost means I’ve got to make use of it, so I thought it would make me swim more than once per week. But honestly I look forward to it.I don’t wear a swimming cap, so it’s clipped to my goggles strap, loose wires I tuck under the straps and I’ve never had any issues whatsoever. It’s incredibly simple to use.I couldn’t recommend this product more highly. If you are hesitant because of the price, but you’re finding your swim boring, you will transform it by getting one of these. 👍👍👍👍

after trying a few other swimming and music products i decided to try one of these. Just do it they are amazing - fabulous sound quality,, long lasting battery life and it really is waterproof - forget splash proof this is the real deal. I swim for 40 minutes a day every day with mine and i have for the last 12 months. so when my brother was moaning about another waterlogged system I just bought him one of these - he cannot believe the difference either

this is the second one of these I have owned, last one I had for a couple of years and it still worked well, the only think was the volume control stopped working but I had dropped it a couple of times so that may well have been the reason. These are expensive but I swim 5 times a week and makes such a difference to my workouts. I would highly recommend. The headsets are poor however and I have tried several types over the last couple of years. I have replaced the headsets several times and now tend to buy cheap ones as I think they last just as long

Early days but i love it - kept putting this off thinking it wouldn't work - but got so bored swimming i took a chance! well i'm glad i did - the sound is brilliant and it does what it says - it plays music to you underwater!!!! only slight draw back is that you can only load it with music on your hard drive - it doesn't work with apple music, so you have to re live your old music collection.

Having tried out my husband's, I had to buy another one for myself. Completely brilliant. Very easy to add music. I have peculiar ears that do not take well to earbuds, but these swimbuds are as good as any I have ever tried - which is not to say that they don't sometimes pop out if I am swimming vigorously, but easy to pop straight back in again and excellent sound quality. I swim every day during the summer for more than an hour per day and this system really increases my enjoyment of the exercise.
