my review of the lihit lab compact pen case
this’ll be a short review but this is a good option for anyone who has a minimalist set of pens and wants a small compact case to keep them in. i like how it looks and it’s pretty organized with all of it’s pouches as i keep a few pens and pencils in there. i’ve had it for a few months and it’s pretty durable and waterproof; the color is nice and i think it’s a good value for money. it’s very functional and i could see it being used outside of just pens.

Love this little case - Just about perfect
I took a chance on this little case -I want to take my sketching/painting gear on a trip to Europe in as small and light weight a conveyance as possible. This is not an urban sketching trip and I doubt anyone else will be doing this so I can’t be lugging along and pulling out a lot of gear. I have a larger Lithitlab case that is my “vault” for all things extra I like to have with me locally. I love it but its format is too large for this need to order another. I want to be able to have something that can easily be put in my purse (to be determined). I can get everything I need in this small compact case EXCEPT my palette - even my smallest, dearest Whiskey Painter’s palette is too thick at 7/8” total (includes projections from mixing areas & thumb ring) to zip up the case. So my dilemma is, do I love this case enough to spend $50+ on a “pocket palette” (at 1/4” thick & I THINK will fit in vertically) to save size and weight & still have a palette? I have an old “freebie” make up bag that EVERYTHING fits in, including 2 Whiskey Painters palettes, but loaded it weighs almost 1# (more with a Moleskin sketchbook, BUT the sketchbook fits in it!). This case loaded would be just under 1/2# , is half the size, and in reality I would have more than I actually need. It would seem like an easy decision. I’m keeping it no matter - will probably bite the bullet and order yet another paint palette. Love how it feels in my hand. Very well made. Zippers are excellent. Lays flat. Will update with photo when resolved.Update: ordered the Pocket Palette and even smaller Demi Palette from Art Toolkit. The Pocket Palette is business card size. Both those small, but more than adequate paint palettes fit in this Smart Fit Lihit case. Everything fits beautifully and this fits in the crossbody bag I’m taking nicely. For travel sketching or just everyday to throw in a purse or backpack or just keep in the car - you can’t beat this.

compact and handy
I bought this for pens, pencils, highlighter, a small ruler, a couple of clips, a small sticky pad and several other items that tend to get lost down in my bags. Everything I need fits in this just perfect and it easily moves from travel bag to work bag to church bag. I wouldn't want it any larger.Mine is a nice blue and very subtle - I didn't want it to stand out. It has a nice zipper and the inside pockets are perfect as well. I don't see anything that I would redesign even if I could.Mine had no odors, the zipper was strong, it was brand new, no sign of previous wear and it arrived in perfect condition.I highly recommend.

Perfect little pen case holds more than you think
This is a perfect pen case for my needs. I write lots of snail mail, journal each day, and just generally feel lost without a small selection of pens and stationary supplies on hand at a moments notice. My favorite features of this little bag are: that it stands upright easily and stays put even if you are moving around on the couch next to it, it opens wide so you can see all contents easily, it has two smooth working zippers, the bag material is soft and sturdy and pleasant to hold, it has 5 mesh pockets inside with a large middle area. One of the mesh pockets is longer than the others so something larger can go there such as a mini pad of paper, or even a mini watercolor kit perhaps. In my bag I am carrying 15 pens of various types from full-sized fountain pens, mini fountains, microns, markers, and signo uniballs, 5 rolls washi tape, one full sized Colorbox ink stamp pad, and 1-2 wooden approx one inch square stamps. All of this zips in easily. I could fit additional pens in but it would start to feel a bit jammed for me I think. If I carry a bit less washi or skip stamps then more pens would fit easily. The black material is nice with a medium grey interior. This is truly a perfect case for me - not too much, not too little - just right! I hope it works as well for you.

The Perfect Sketch/Watercolor kit!
This may be the absolute perfect travel watercolor kit! It’s super compact, just bigger than the size of my hand when all closed up. Despite it’s very small size it holds a ton of supplies! I was really worried before ordering that adding my bijou palette would cause it to be to bulky. Not only does it fit beautifully, when zipped up it doesn’t strain or bulge the bag! There is still a bit of room; I could probably stuff more supplies in if I wanted too.My only complaint is the smaller blue pocket. It doesn’t have any give, and with pencils behind it doesn’t fit much. A small pencil and lead are all I could fit there. I think that if they had a second net pocket on that side it would be more functional. Even with that in mind, you can clearly see this case holds more supplies than I would ever need in a travel kit!Edit: After some travel and a bit of use the small blue pocket did stretch slightly! I was able to add a watercolor brush and eraser. I think that if it had a second mesh pocket it wouldn’t be able to hold on to smaller supplies as effectively. Another addition I made was swapping my bijou box for a flask palette; the additional water when traveling has been a game changer! The flask palette is a bit thicker than a bijou box; I still don’t feel the bag is overly strained. You can see an outline of the tin when all zipped up though.10/10 would buy this again if anything happened to mine. It really is the ultimate watercolor kit!
