1 Pound of Crystallized Ginger Baker's Cut 3-6mm

I use these in my gingersnaps. It is so nice being able to get the baker's cut, so I don't have to chop sticky, sugary crystalized ginger anymore! The pieces are nice and moist, not hard, have a nice ginger zing to them, and make the most delicious cookies. They are a good price, good quality, AND more convenient, what's not to love?

The pricing is unusual (very inexpensive for the ginger, but shipping is quite high), but the bottom line is that the total cost is excellent, and the product is as well. If you look at similar products from say King Arthur or Penzies, you'll pay far more for product + shipping. The bag is easily a 1lb, I weighed mine. They taste great out of the bag but are perfect for my baking needs. I use this for making a raspberry crisp. These worked really well for me. It's very unlikely that you'll find a better, yet more affordable, product than this one. Highly recommend!

I make scones and gingerbread with real ginger somewhat often. It's better and more flavourful than ginger powder (even fresh), and it really lends something to the recipes. Chopping my OWN crystallised ginger, though, is a heck of a chore. And very often, baker's cut chops are either too big or insanely expensive. These are a good, small, easy to measure out cut, and do not cost an arm and a leg. Very pleased, and will absolutely buy these again.

This is my favorite Crystallized Ginger to use for holiday baking. It is very high quality. It tastes great. I highly recommend this seller to all.

I bought four types of candied ginger because I love the stuff and wanted to compare them. I had bought a large bag of the stuff (not this product) from another source last year and it was so woody that it lasted far longer than I wanted it to 😳 THIS product is not woody. Flavor is mild, not spicy... You might like more flavor but with these little pieces don’t know if you could really get that bite. It’s a great size for baking or sweetening yogurt, ice cream, cereal... The pieces are smaller than I expected, and there is too much loose sugar in it. Otherwise handy and mildly tasty.

I love the product! I Hate the postage- it’s a ripoff!!! You spend almost as much on postage as you do product and it doesn’t cost that much!!! If I could find something like this I won’t buy due to principle of it all!

I love this stuff. It would be great to say that I am baking some fantastic Starbucks style gingerbread with this ingredient. I am just eating it like candy and just thinking about some old fashioned ginger bread. I do eat it for stomach relief too. It also helps with nausea. It stays fresh in the bag and for me is the perfect texture - easy to chew and soft enough. Sometimes, as with other food products such as jalapenos, there are differences in the heat or spicy-ness.

I love this product. Makes my life so much easier! Cuts down prep time, and is delicious.
