C-Line 5-Tab Binder Pockets with Write-On Index Tabs, Assorted Colors, 8.5 x 11 Inches, 5 Pockets per Set (06650)

I have bought these at least three times. I use them for so many things, but lately I have been loving them for making action files. Basically, you have paperwork that goes with things you need to do or follow up on (mom life :) Using a binder pocket for each action item makes life so much easier as you can keep all paperwork related in once place, label it for what it is for, and keep them in a basket for your action items and everyone knows where to find them. When you complete a task, file everything away and start another one with the binder pocket. For example, you have kids with upcoming physicals and all the accompanying paperwork/athlete forms. Keep everything there in the pocket labeled with the appointment date and time. When you have to fill things out or find the completed forms even after the appointment, then you have everything in your file. Another few examples : 1) you have Christmas shopping coming up- use these to keep all your receipts, lists, etc. When you go shopping, grab your binder pocket and keep it all together. 2) You have a car that needs to be repaired. Start a file for everything related to that repair, insurance paperwork, body shop quotes/receipts. When the car repair is completed and all is paid, your action file is complete. I also use these in binders which I made up to organize the family’s important papers. They fit several pages and the papers do not fall out of them. This has eliminated so much clutter and keeps everyone organized.

Overall, I am very please with my write-on binder pockets. I really like how each one has a tab so that I can use them in my binders with my classes. The colors are slightly more subdued in person than in the photo, but still attractive and a nice variety.If I could make a change, I would want the pockets to hold more papers (overall capacity) so that I could possibly put a full class set of materials in one folder. If you put more than 20 sheets in one, it won't fold in and there's a gap, so it doesn't lay flat. Perhaps if there's a second variety of the folders available that is made for a larger capacity and had maybe an accordion style fold, it might allow for my papers. These are certainly perfect for someone who wants to put just a handful or even one paper in the folder for viewing. Since it's a write-on index, you can easily change up what is written on the tab, which is especially nice and non-committal. As a teacher, I know I am changing it up all the time and it gets old having to use sticky notes to attach instead of being able to write directly. This set is great for a binder and works well for every day paper management.

I like these. They work very well for my purpose, which is for binders of reference materials that stay in one place and are not handled roughly. I find that tucking in the pocket flap is sufficient to keep papers inside. (Again, I’m not carrying these around or cramming them into backpacks or anything.)The only problem I have with the pocket is that if the material you put in them has narrow margins, it can be difficult to read what is at the far right of the paper.These tabs protrude farther than the tabs of the plastic dividers I use to subdivide sections, so for me, these are close to perfect.

This may not be the most steady product but for the price it’s great to keep things organized. I use them to organize papers/crafts. I just use a paper clip to keep it closed so closure snaps aren’t an issue. It’s more idea for organizing things that your not necessarily using on a daily basis. I’ve since repurchase bc the price is even better than the dollar tree.

Ordered 2 packs (10 folders total) a week or so ago. They work well enough for storing my sewing patterns but I realized I need more. And here's why it only gets 3 stars: I went to order another pack (5 folders) just now and got hit with an alert that I could not purchase ANY amount again because I "already reached my limit". Even though the max quantity one can order is 2 packs. I did a little research and found that Amazon does this to prevent people from bulk buying and price gouging, which I get. But really, Amazon?? You think I'm gonna go out and make a profit off of FIFTEEN whole folders??? Give me a break. Nevermind teachers who might need 30+ of these for their students. Not with this product! You'll just have to pick your ten favorites and let the other kids deal with it. Meanwhile similar products on this site give you the option of only buying a pack of five or committing to a whole pack of 25. I was prepared to leave a better review for giving me the option to incrementally increase my order, but this undoes all of that.

Wanted some organization and this works to highlight a few sheets, but us NOT for storing packages.

Nice set of dividers that are more useable then others since they have a pocket that safely stores important documents without worry about damage. Five colors are nice too and makes locating the right section easier.

this was just what I was looking for each divider has a full-sized pocket and is made of durable but soft plastic.
