I started running last summer. In Texas. I'm a lifelong asthmatic with occasional sinus problems, but living in Dallas, we don't see super cold weather. Once winter came and temps dropped into the 40s in the morning (nope, not super cold), I developed sinusitis. It took me awhile to figure out that this wasn't just a winter cold I couldn't shake, but actual cold-weather induced sinusitis from running in the upper 30s to low 40s weather.So, after fighting a low grade sinus infection for two months, two rounds of steroids, and 4 weeks of antibiotics, I started looking for options. This was the best thing I found, and it works pretty well. I ended up buying 3 of them total. Some of the reviews says it runs small. I'm not sure how big their heads are, BUT, I purchased a medium for myself (I've been told I have a pea head), and a large for my husband (who has a giant head). The large fit my husband just fine. The medium was too big on me, gaped at the chin and neck, and basically wasn't comfortable and caused my chin to get sweaty.I purchased the small, and it fits WAY better. I'm a 5'4" average sized woman, so although these might run small, I can't say I've noticed that they run tiny.This mask enables me to run in colder temperatures, but... once the temps are in the mid 30s, it's still not enough. The nose is covered, but the nose hole is open, so there's no filtering or warming on the nasal intake. The mouth has holes in it, so there's a little bit of a buffer, but it's not going to be as effective as something that's more mesh, or a true scarf.I'm not sure what the solution is for truly cold weather, but for Dallas, this works well enough that I can still run for most of the winter (most, not all) and not worry about doing the sinusitis thing for another 2 months.

Unfortunately I don't order online that much and didn't comprehend the "SM" in this products amazon listing title meant "small". Seller may just want to type in the 3 extra letters to avoid someone else missing that factor.
