Excellent peeler!
THIS is the peeler of my youth that grandma had ( i'm 63 ) ! it works smoothly and effortlessly! It can tackle even tough skinned items like mango, kiwi, etc. Is easy to hold, easy to clean, easy to store! - expect it to last a very very long time! - My mom still has Grandma's!

Very sharp
It’s great! Peels so easily. If you have not bought a new peeler in a while you will be surprised at the ease of use! Used it on carrots and a squash!

High Quality
I’ve purchased several other brands of peelers, most of which don’t last well due to poor craftsmanship and subpar materials. This one, is excellent on both counts! Upon opening the package, this one had a little extra weight to it. The blades were razor sharp. I peeled potatoes and carrots and it was effortless. No snagging on roots, just clean peeling. It also seems to be made to truly withstand rust. Very pleased!

Perfect! Strong and sharp!
This is like the peelers from the old days. Super sharp, easy in your hand but not a lot of fancy extras. It's absolutely perfect! All metal, handle curved just enough to be comfortable in your hand.

Sharp, it’s nicely into my utensil drawer
I had a very good peeler, but it was like five times the size of this one, and the older one had a plastic tip for carving out the eyes of a potato. This one is compact, very sharp and a metal tip (obviously) for covering out the eyes of potato, works much better. Best tool for the job! And super easy to peel stuff because the blades are so sharp!

I’m a fan!
The blade on this peeler is excellent! I love how sharp it is. I love that it is all sturdy stainless steel and it should last a good long time according to other reviews. The handle isn’t as ergonomic as I would have liked but if that’s what it takes to get the far superior blade, I will take it. It is far better than any of those silly, dull peelers with plastic handles that you practically have to bludgeon your produce to death with to get the peels off. Honestly the handle is probably the way it is to make it more sturdy because in my opinion if it is ergonomic but delicate, it defeats the purpose of being able to get the peeling done. I like something that is reliable/durable and I won’t have to replace in six month’s time. This cuts through peels with ease while you have to apply an excessive amount of force and effort with others, this is like butter when peeling a carrot or cucumber. I even purchased a peeler for both my parents and my In-Laws as gifts (my husband destroyed his parent’s previous peeler trying to peel a butternut squash because it was too dull to do job. It came away all mangled and he had to get out a knife.) This peeler actually handles tougher peels like beets and butternut squash without difficulty.

Best peeler I've ever used, hands down.
The engineering of this kitchen utensil is simple and it works better than anything else I've used for peeling vegetables. Only a very light touch is needed and the peels come right off. Also, the peeler is efficiently sized for easy and comfortable handling and storing. The larger fancy veggie peelers cannot compare. This design is like my mother's original peeler which is even now after 50+ years, still working better than the new, fancy designs which I've had to replace multiple times. The Linden Sweden Original Jonas Peeler is the king of peelers!

Super Sharp
I had been using a hand-me-down peeler for ages, but it finally rusted out. I bought this one because I find it easier to use than a Y-peeler, and the style works well for left-handed people. The first time I used it, I peeled the skin off my thumb because it is so much sharper than my old one. I’m now more cautious when I use it, and I haven’t had any other issues.Because it is so sharp, it does a great job on things like apples and potatoes, but it also glides right through tougher peels like butternut squash. I always bought pre-cut squash before, so in that respect, it’s saving me a lot of money.
