good workbook for fractions
this is a workbook for fractions, it targets kids from age 5 to 7, this book has 48 pages, 15 lessons and a review and challenge chapter at the end ordered this book for my 6 years old, she doesn’t know fractions at all, the best she knows about that should be what’s half of something this book explains fractions from equal, half, third, quarter to counting and set, all chapters are illustrated with beautiful pictures, examples are what kids always see in their life (e.g sharing food, counting snack, folding paper, etc) i think it really helped her to start from scratch, i think it builds a good foundation for her, and should be very helpful when her school start teaching this topic i’m very satisfied with this book, would recommend

A very good guide to basic fractions
I teach and tutor and this kind of teaching / practice book is something I review quite often. I have come to trust Dorling Kindersley a great deal as a publisher and their publications for children are, in my view, at the top level both in terms of the quality of the writing and the value for money. This is no different and offers a truly well thought out introduction to the arithmetics of fractions. As for "Maths - No Problem", well, we'll allow DK a little licence as maths is always a problem, but this little book makes the problem a whole lot easier. The price is low for the quality offered and the book, as well as the series of which it is a part, "Master Maths at Home", can be fully recommended.

Great Singapore Maths book
I’m a big fan of Maths No Problem and have taught in a school that’s been using the scheme for several years to great results. It tends to stretch children quite significantly, so you’ll probably need to help your child with this ‘homework’ book, but I think that’s a strength. The activities are interactive and fun and it very much works in tandem with the National Curriculum.

Excellent, easy to follow workbook
My seven year old struggles with her maths and has fallen behind which is making simple homework tasks challenging and I struggle to explain and show her in a way she can understand. This book helps massively with the basics of fractions with visual aids and tasks which she understands. The pages are colourful and engaging. We set aside a small amount a time every couple of days just to go through a couple of pages and it’s helping. Would highly recommend!

Great introduction to fractions
This book is a fantastic introduction to fractions, it’s aimed at Key Stage 1 (ages 5-7). My daughter is age 6 and it’s fair to say that maths isn’t her favourite subject! This book is brilliant for using at home to encourage additional learning and understanding. The diagrams and overall layout of the book is well designed making it more interesting for younger children. It’s also explained well which helps me as well! This book is one I’d definitely recommend.
