If you like 7 Wonders Duel, get this expansion immediately and never look back! Pantheon takes Duel from a really fun 2-player game to one of the all-time GREAT 2-player games. My wife and I love the base Duel game and still play it occasionally, but Pantheon is our go-to now.

The original 7 Wonders: Duel is a great game, among my favorite 2-player games. However, after a dozen or so playthroughs the original game becomes a bit repetitive and leaves an experienced player wanting a bit more. The Pantheon Expansion delivers. All of the new mechanics are well-designed and fun to play. The expansion gives the player several new options that add an entirely new dimension of strategy to the game. I've found the expanded game has considerably more staying power than the original, mostly because it's more dynamic and complex, giving an experienced player considerably more to think about. The expansion involves a lot of new rules and significant set-up time, which could be a bit of an obstacle for new players. Also, the addition of new options and powers tends to inure to the benefit of advanced players, causing margins of victory to be larger in the expansion than in the original. But that's also what I think makes the expansion more challenging, rewarding, and fun. I recommend getting acquainted with the original game first, but the expansion is a great improvement. This is one of my favorite games. Very highly recommended.

So fun! My husband and I love 7 Wonders Duel and mythology, so this seemed like an obvious expansion that we needed to try. I really like the ways the gods switch up the rules for the base game. 7 Wonders Duel is an awesome 2 player game on its own. It’s easy to learn but still requires a fair amount of strategy, which I think is a great balance. All of the pieces and cards came in good condition and were ready to use.

Do you love 7 Wonders Duel but it has grown stale or you do not like the lack of options in the base game? This expansion fixes a game that wasn't even broken in the first place. It is a must own. The base game is amazing. The only thing I can consider a negative aspect of it is that sometimes you are forced to uncover a card your opponent really wants. This fixes that. Now, you can call upon the gods instead of taking a card which totally breaks the predetermined flow of the base game. Do the gods add anything else of value to the game? Of course they do and I love how in the first part of the game you get to decide where to place them. Did you get one that your opponent has no use for? Put it closer to them so they have to pay more for the ones they really want to use. Buy this expansion. It is a must.

Very good expansion, worth it to make 7 Wonders Duel a lot more replayable and to improve the endgame so it does not feel so predetermined after the first few plays

This is a fun add-on to the existing 7 Wonders Duel game. If you're looking to add some additional elements to the gameplay, this is an excellent choice. The learning curve isn't too steep, and the additional gameplay considerations add to the challenge of the game. This is a solid purchase for those who enjoy 2-player games.

7 Wonders Duel is a great game by itself but this Pantheon Expansion takes it to another level! Having played both with the expansion and without it a number of times each, I’m pretty sure it’s coming out every time I play it from now on. Easy to set up and play and adds another dimension to the game play with no fuss. Great addition. Buy it - you won’t regret it.

Super jeu, super extension. Cette extension apporte une autre dimension au jeu DUEL qui au bout de 50 parties peut commencer à être un peu prévisible. Je recommande !

Ich spiele 7 Wonders Duel immer mit meinem Freund. Seit langem gewinnt er nur noch 😥 Durch die Erweiterung habe ich auch mal einen Hauch einer Chance. 7 Wonders Duel ist an sich schon ein sehr großartiges Spiel und diese Erweiterung fügt dem ganzen das Göttliche hinzu. Man hat jetzt mehr Auswahl im Spielzug und auch eine bessere Chance durch Forschung oder Militär zu gewinnen (also schön aufpassen). Schade finde ich, dass die Gildenkarten ersetzt werden. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine super Erweiterung und für alle 7 Wonders Duel Spieler.

Great expansion pack. It is extremely important to keep in mind that the game changes entirely with the addition of this pack. Many have told me that they would not go back to the original game after they added this. I am afraid that this is the case for me as well. The only issue I have with this expansion is related to the game development. There must be some sort of Divinity that would be able to destroy a Science card. Otherwise, it seems that once a player decides to go for a science victory, there is very little you can do in terms of pushing them back.
