Chocolates like these are made of cocoa butter and melts easy, so cooling packs should have been provided for courier purposes. Rather it came crushed in a plain box with no additional support.

My Mom purchased some food items when shopping at ‘Modern Bazaar’, an offline store selling all kinds of food products, of Indian and foreign origin. This product was among those purchased. Manufactured by brand ‘Cadbury’, it is a bar composed of white chocolate. The bar has a ‘peel-off’ packaging, which makes it easy to unwrap. When unwrapped, the bar bears a design reminiscent of the brand’s “Marvellous Creations” bars, and, to an extent, that of “Tony’s Chocolonely” bars. The one I received had a total of 26 ‘irregular’ rectangle and square-shaped ‘chunks’ held together. Some of the ‘chunks’ had horizontal ‘stripes’-like and ‘dotted’ designs embossed onto them. When tasted, the bar has a chewy texture at first, which eventually melts inside of the mouth. One experiences sweetness and an incredibly satisfying ‘creamy’ mouthfeel. The sweetness is lingering, albeit not ‘sugary’ sweet. The ‘chunks’ provide for a thickness to the bar, which in turn contributes to a feeling of satiety. The quantity is substantial enough to last for a relatively long period in time. I have had ‘Cadbury India’ ‘Unity’ bar in 2019, which had white chocolate incorporated into it. This product has a flavour akin to that of the white chocolate component of the ‘Cadbury India’ ‘Unity’ bar. ‘Cadbury India’ manufactured a ‘Wowie’ bar in early 2000s, featuring iconic ‘Disney’ characters such as ‘Minnie Mouse’ among others. It was composed of a milk chocolate ‘slab’ with a white chocolate component, the white chocolate featuring the ‘Disney’ characters. It was truly delightful in terms of product concept and flavour. One hopes that ‘Cadbury India’ re-releases a white chocolate product soon, and that too as part of its ‘permanent’ products’ line-up. The absence of any add-ons/mix-ins in the ‘Cadbury White’ bar is not ‘jarring’. The bar can be had on its own or paired with a beverage of one’s choice. In my humble opinion, black coffee is a good option. Overall, this product is worth the purchase.
