Excellent book on how to start an embroidery business. I have been thinking about making extra money and I now have great information step by step how to start my embroidery business! Thank you Martin Barnes for this clear and detailed advice in your book volume 1. I just got the book and read through it twice and on to book 2!

This book is very easy to follow and very infornative

Very well written book for the first-timer or home business into machine embroidery. I have had other home craft business, but this book lays everything out step by step. Business plan module was very helpful with areas I would not have thought of. Purchasing equipment and supplies was another area I am now putting more thought into. Thank you for taking the time in sharing your wisdom with all.

I purchased this book after deciding to add embroidery to my home based sewing business. I have some of the tools listed that are needed to begin. The information given opened my eyes even more to the work I’ve already done and still need to do. I appreciate the work put into this book! I recommend it for anyone considering embroidery as a service provided to others.

I'm interested in starting an embroidery business from home and was very pleased with the level of information that was included in Volume 1. It was very helpful in allowing me to evaluate the different types of machines available and narrow the selection down to the machines that are best for me. I am very interested in embroidery digitizing and creating my own designs and I found the information a good place to start and will do more research. I'm looking forward reading Volume 2.

Book 1 was very informative. Lots of information regarding machines, software, etc. worth the read for sure.

This book was written in 2016 and all the information is out of date. In fact, according to the author, if you are looking to enter the embroidery market in 2026 you have missed the boat. The author either has a poor grasp of the English language or the book was translated badly. The book could have easily been half the length as all the information is repeated over and over. Don't waste you time with this one.
