My old flame red GBA SP was seriously banged up from years of love and use, so I decided to do something I'd never done and revamp it instead of hunting down an over-priced, gently used one to replace it. The entire process was actually a blast and I'm glad I did it. Believe me when I say this is a project, though. Almost everything you need is included, but not quite. Make sure you have the special magnetic tri-wing screwdriver, a very small phillips head, and a small to medium flathead before you get started. Instructions are not included, but they're not really necessary if you're especially clever or capable of hunting down tutorials on the internet like a big boy/girl. The only real problem you're likely to run into are the hinges. It's nigh impossible to take your console apart without mangling them beyond the point of reuse and for some unfathomable reason, extras are not included with this product. I ended up having to hunt mine down on ebay and I freaking HATE ebay. To the makers/shippers of this shell kit, you could have earned yourself an extra two stars on this review if you'd just included them in the first place. It's something you really ought to consider in the future because frankly it was a chump move that you didn't. In any case, definitely go for this if you're feeling nostalgic and frisky. It's worth every penny and the fifteen minutes it takes.

Very Satisfied
I was very pleased with this GBA SP shell. I ordered a blue version and it came with all the parts needed. One problem was that I was hoping to get the Gameboy Advance SP sticker that goes on the bottom of the console but other than that, this is a good purchase.

it's alright
make sure you have a tri-wing screw driver, you can order on from amazon. And save the screws from the original case, because the ones that came with this shell stripped easily. therwise the product has everything you need (except instructions)
