ASICS Men's Solution Speed FF 2 Tennis Shoes

This is the first "Real" tennis shoe I've ever had. I'm a 4.5 player but never truly invested in quality equipment other than my racket and strings. I got used to playing with ASICS running shoes and an ankle wrap for extra support, but with these shoes, there's no need for the ankle wrap anymore. Great side support and amazing speed. Even though these are slightly heavier than my previous shoes, I feel like I'm reaching balls that were previously impossible to get. Most ASICS shoes fit me perfectly in 9.5, but this one is a little tighter on the sides, but that is to be expected, as it's tight in all the right places to bring extra support. Great traction on hard courts. Haven't tested them on clay yet. Took me around 20 minutes of playtime to get comfortable and break them in, the hard plasticky cover on the top was hurting my big toes when running, but that discomfort quickly faded away as I played. Overall, great tennis shoe, I didn't know it would feel so different, in a positive way, I'm reaching more shots and have more confidence on the court. Will definitely buy a second pair soon!

These are the first "dedicated pickleball shoes I've ever purchased. I read just many online reviews about "best shoes for pickleball" and these were recommended on several sites. Since I've purchased Asics in the past, and not knowing how other shoe brands would fit my feet (which is always a struggle when purchasing online v. in-store), I went with these and so glad I did! They felt comfortable right off the bat and no "break in period" needed. I really like the somewhat rubberized upper material of the shoe and tight laces. I really can tell a difference in my balance, bursts, and foot stamina. Would highly recommend and will be purchasing again when these get worn down (which hopefully won't be for a while!).

The shoes are great! Comfy around the edges, lightweight, and a good balance of flexible when I need it and durable when I need that. But the insoles? Feels like I’m running barefoot on concrete after a long day of teaching lessons. The memory foam insoles need to be replaced with a better insole.

Obviously every foot is different. For me, this shoe is super stable, light, and secure. I forget I'm wearing a shoe on the court which is exactly what I want. They are also MUCH more durable than Nike shoes which I wore out in 3 months (vapor pro and vapor 11) and hated how unstable they were. I hope with all my heart they keep making this exact same shoe.

I play a lot of Pickleball and this was exactly what I needed. They’re really durable. They provide the support that I need and provide me a lot of traction extremely comfortable and durable. Not to mention that they also look great, and they can also just be used as an everyday shoe, which I really like.

My first play today and I was very pleased. I have been wearing Asics shoes for years but I think these are best. Out of the box, perfect fit and felt great. No need for extra padding or insoles. I hope they never stop making these. I order another pair today after just one ware of my first pair. Please do not stop making these shoes.

Good snug fit for my foot and light shoe. I have narrow heal which it cups nicely. It does fit a bit tight across top of foot (where my foot is higher) which can take some getting used to - I do not lace tightly in that region and shoes still has very good lateral snugness. Would buy again.

Ran through the outsole of these in maybe 3 months of training. ASICS would not help me in any way. Not work the high price.

After 25 years, I would say that this is best tennis shoe I have used so far!

I ordered size 43.5 they fit perfectly. Great for the gym. Excellent grip on the foot, slightly tight probably because they are still new and will loosen over time. I really like them

This is definitely better than the previous version. It’s as light as a running shoe and has no heel slippage. I also find it sufficiently cushioned in the heel and midsole. It allows to me to move around the court quickly.
