Very pleased with this personal alarm. I often am by myself and this is sure to get attention either if I am attacked or I were to get hurt and needed to summons help. Attaches to my key chin so it is always available. The unit also contains a small flashlight bright enough to help you make you way in the dark.

Bought these for my kids. Tested them out and both are loud enough to draw attention from Atleast 2-3 houses away. (Warned the neighbors I was testing them) this could damage someone’s ears if you held it up to them. I was worried the pin was super easy to accidentally pull out the pin but that is not the case. The pin doesn’t completely detach so it won’t get lost. For kids I suggest on their backpack or purse when having to walk alone from school or anywhere not directly with an adult. Very easy to one hand pull if attached to something else. I tested it multiple times and didn’t have any issues with it not being loud.

Overall it does what it says it will do. I like that it doesn’t have that additional string hanging out of the side like other ones. The only downside at all is that it’s not very loud. I told everyone to cover their ears before I pulled the pin and when I did it it wasn’t even that loud. You don’t have to cover your ears indoors. With that said, I will still use it because something is better than nothing.

This is the ideal item to give to someone as a safety tool. I advise caution in accidentally activating as I have done mine and it is very loud and my perception is that it could potentially damage hearing and it is diffult to put back together to deactivate all while blasting the loud alarm which is what makes it very effective. I have learned to wrap the alarm with thick material while reassembling it to stiffle the sound until I get it back together. This doesn't happen often and only occurs when I catch mine on something and pull it apart. I highly recommend this item as a safety tool. Comes in nice colors

The alarm is small, nice clip to attached to purse, pouch or keyring. Siren is loud enough.The thing I would change is the light has to be held to keep it on. The light needs to have on and off capability so you don't have to hold it in on position
