PETLIBRO Replacement Pump for Cat Water Fountain, Super Quiet Pump for Pet Water Fountain Dog Water Dispenser PLWF002 Visit the PETLIBRO Store

After getting one of the PETLIBRO (I got the blue, “PLWF002” model) water fountains, I loved everything about it, and my two Chihuahuas, Benji and gizmo loved it as well. But, eventually I made the mistake of having it running when the tank was completely out of water so the pump got messed up and wasn’t working properly so had to get a replacement and it works perfectly and I have no problems with it. And I’ve even noticed that it’s not the same exact version that it came with the water fountain. Originally, the pump seems to look the same, but definitely looks like a newer version or model of the pump. Now, the only thing I REALLY wish is that PETLIBRO sold a replacement water foundation spout for the “PLWF002” model because I seem to have misplaced it somewhere and cannot find it anywhere so unfortunately I don’t have the cool little water fountain spout attachment for the water to come out of that it originally came with that because my dog gizmo would always drink from the water coming out of the spout, but my other dog Benji would always just drink from the pool of water. So I’m just bummed out for gizmo that seem to enjoy, licking the water coming out of the spout but he’s adjusted to now just drinking from the pool of water and I guess now I have nice calming waterfall sound coming from the fountain. Because before I would always stick on the water spout attachment, and when I would use that the water noise level was much lower, but now that I don’t have that it just has that bubbling motion of water coming out and that noise is actually pretty nice it’s like having those cool Zen water falls that people buy, lol. BUT! Still, if PETLIBRO would start selling replacemen water fountain spout for their “PLWF002” models that would be soooo great!!! (You know what?… I think I’m actually going to go ahead and message them directly after I submit this review on that idea, lol.)

Stopped working after 10 weeks but the problem was it was clogged. You need to take it apart and clean thoroughly.

Unfortunately pump in a water fountain is the least lasting part of it. My pump usually lasts little less than 2 years and when it goes, my cats wander to get water and do not want to drink from the water dish I leave, making us to refill the dish after each time they drink. Having a spare pump is a must in my house. This is a direct fit to replace the original pump, restores the water flow to normal and there is no assembly required.

This fountain was perfect for our cat. He loves it! Unfortunately the original pump lasted about 2 months. So I was like no big deal, new one is only 10$. So the replacement lasted a week before flow slowed down to a trickle. I even tore it apart and made sure nothing was preventing it from turning like hair or dirt. Clean as a whistle. Started back up again, it flowed somewhat better but within an hour was down to a trickle again. I would have paid way more for a fountain that has a better quality pump if I didn’t have to replace it every few weeks. Bought a few more pumps, because I have a ton of filters to use up, otherwise I would have purchased a different brand. Once my filters are all used up that’s probably what I will do.

Best replacement pump for pet water fountain I’ve ever used. Super, super quiet. Does not get clogged. I’ve gone through at least four other pumps that were constantly breaking or getting clogged or would require excessive cleaning. This one has been running strong for 8 months, very happy.

I bought 3 of these replacement water filters, thinking I'd be set with spare parts for a while. I have two of these water fountains, and I actually had to replace my first pump for the first time just recently. All three are junk... brand new out of the box. The water flow is super weak, not enough to push the water up to the fountain discharge. I also noticed that the propeller does not spin up after plugging the usb power into the outlet. In order to get it to spin up, you have to use your finger to give it an initial spin, but that doesn't help either.

My pets loves these fountains. Glad I was able to find pump.

My cats love their petlibro fountain. I am glad I can buy just the motor rather than replacing the whole thing as it wears from use.

I replaced the motor after 6 months of use cause you cant open this part to clean the fan. Its affordable to replace it and its safer for my cats health.
