These small crossbows function with all the principles of the originals, without the space or strength requirements. The steel bow is drawn back by a heavy natural cord, which is then held in place by a wooden peg. Squeezing the grip pulls the peg down, releasing the cord which is turn fires the missile.Small objects such as miniature marshmallows make excellent "ammunition." This crossbow comes with two miniature bolts, as shown. Each bolt is over five inches long, and is made of wood with a steel tip.
