Really nice LEDs! The biggest plus is that they're fully customizable. You can control them through the app - turning them on or off, setting timers, adjusting brightness, and choosing from many preset colours or even creating your own color for each LED. There's a lot to explore. I bought them for my daughter after getting her a house bed, and I placed the LEDs all around it. They look amazing! They stick well, the remote control is working well, compatible with android and ios most probably. I don't know about durability but I hope they will last long enough till my daughter will get enough from these LEDs.

I dont usually write a review but sheesh! This thing is immaculate. Bright, easy to install and I love the fact that there are so many effects to choose from. You can adjust the mic sensitivity so the light reacts perfectly to every beat of the music. I think the best feature of this product is YOU CAN ASK AI TO CUSTOMISE OR CREATE EFFECTS FOR YOU. 10 stars if possible

Initially bought a cheaper Tuya-based WiFi LED strip however it arrived and wouldn't work. I've had similar flaky experiences with cheap WiFi LED strips in the past. Govee have a good reputation so opted to grab this for ~£20 intending to run it behind and underneath my TV cabinets. Tested this upon arrival and it seemed to be working fine. Was able to run it where I wanted, however realised after sticking the strip down along an awkward run that the LEDs weren't on after about 1.5m of the strip. Pulled the run off thinking I'd only use the first ~1.5m for a shorter run just underneath the cabinets instead of behind also. As we were re-sticking the strip just underneath the cabinets the rest of it suddenly came back to life. I ended up just running the strip underneath the cabinets and snipped off the end at the first available cut point. Even with it working it does seem a little temperamental during fitting - having the strip stuck down occasionally stops some of the later LED sections working - so I had to have a couple of small 1in sections hanging unattached from the underside. Not sure what's causing the strip to short or fail in places but it's now attached and working and looking good alongside my Ambilight TV. The Govee Home app is easy to use and gives you plenty of scenes. The app can connect to the strip over Bluetooth but the strip itself can connect to WiFi for control via Alex, Google Home, or Home Assistant. The device can also have LAN control enabled via the app for removing reliance on the internet. The colour reproduction is good, as is brightness. At the ~£20 price point it's definitely worth it!

I used this around shelving, and the colours look bright and smooth. The app gives plenty of scenes without feeling too complicated, and Alexa control worked reliably once it was set up. The music sync is fun for parties, but I mostly use it for softer lighting in the evening. The adhesive has held well after cleaning the surface first. Edit: from 3 to 5 stars. I would give 4 stars for the set of lights I had but the customer service from Govee has redeemed the 5th star. Only inconvenience is that they broke after about 4 months as seen in the photos, so I had to replace them. But they’re somewhat easy to remove and replace. Since seeing this review below govee emailed me with the offer of a full refund, which I took and bought a replacement strip from Govee again. 3 Stars: These lights are Good lights never been disappointed with Govee they are a thin strip, bright and beautiful colours and the way you can change the segments is nice too. However mine have lost brightness on one segment about 4 months in, and for the cost I was disappointed, I wanted there to be more durability, all other Govee products I’ve had, still work and I’ve had for ages.. APP: The ease of the app is great you really can control everything on there not just these light but all your Govee devices light bulbs lamps etc which is what pushed me to get Govee.

High quality strip lights at a budget and affordable price. We’ve tried several sets of strip lights over the last few years and these are by far our favorites so far. Fitting them in place is no issue and the sticky backing on these lights provides great adhesion to all smooth and clean surfaces. Moving away from the attached controller, the govee app provides a wide array of controls and features that are simple and easy to use. Connectivity between your strip lights and smart phone is quick and easy to establish during setup. These lights are very durable and have already been able to withstand a few knocks and bumps without showing any signs of damage or being detrimental towards performance. The colors are bright and vivid and have a wide spectrum to choose from. There is also a large selection of scenes to choose from. The performance of the music sync feature is a highlight for us and our children love watching the lights dancing in time to the beat of their favorite songs.

At least five of the LEDs had no green component so colours were limited on those sections. The colours available are really poor, you could select any colour you want in the app but that is irrelevant if the actual light produced is nothing like the selected colour. I have bought some Govee lights before that are currently around my desk and they look great, the same colours on those look nothing like these ones. The LEDs are spaced far enough from each other that it causes 'spotting' where you could see where each one is against a wall (this is somewhat expected without any diffusing/casing on the LEDs but, still). I also could not connect these to WiFi it would repeatedly just say something went wrong, previous ones had no issue on same network. I have returned these and will buy different ones. Mine might have just been defective (beyond the green LED of course).

I always use govee products but these lights are rubbish. power still runs through up them when they are off (fire hazard).... should be a recall Anyway there stuck to my wall govee have offered to replace them when I send them back with its great. My problem is Who is going to fix my paint on the wall from removing them.
