DC Men's Cole Pro Skate Shoe

The packaging for these shoes were the same as any other pair of shoes.They came in a black box with the DC logo on it with tissue paper inside the shoes to keep the shoes from forming wrinkles.I looked at every inch of these shoes looking for any loose threads and I was not able to find any.The black material these are made from feels like suede the grayish brown material feels like some kinda leather.The shoes have some of the best arch support that I have ever fount in skating style shoes.The insoles for these shoes seem to be lacking in the cushioning department very stiff and hard but still comfortable.I think the laces for these are going to last as long as the shoes does they seem to be made of quality material.These shoes arrived laced all except the last hole so I did not have to take ten minutes to lace them up to try them on.The amount that these shoes breath is amazing I don't think I have had a pair of shoes have so much air flow.I tend to have sweaty feet and with these shoes I manage to keep my feet dry from the amount of fresh air traveling thru them.All and all these seem to be great shoes if I change my mind about them after wearing them longer I will Update this review.

This is the third day I have worn them, and they are very comfortable. Soles are grippy, so they squeak a bit, but that is to be expected from this type of shoe. Note that the sole is relatively thin, so the shoe has more of a minimalist feel. This does not compromise comfort, though.

My husband is a simple shoe kind of man. Anything entirely black he will wear so we went for this shoe because DC is a good quality brand and they were at a great price! When he tried them on he said the length was good, but they were pretty snug across the top of his foot right at the base of his toes. My husband does not have wide feet at all, in fact they are a bit narrow, so for a shoe to be snug on him width wise means they have to be really narrow. He loosened up the laces a little from where he had them and said the shoe itself was still a little snug, but he would try wearing them regularly in hopes that they will be "broken in" and fit his foot better in the future.Even though the shoes were a little tight the hubby still loves them so I would have still given these at least a 4 star rating if it wasn't for the shoe laces being two completely different lengths! When he was done lacing up the shoes he was left with about 8 inches of length on each end of the lace on the right shoe and maybe 3 inches of each end on the left shoe. Now we have to go buy shoe laces that will be the same length! (Yes, they were both laced up exactly the same)

I absolutely love these shoes. For the price they can't be beat. I originally got them as just an extra pair of casual shoes but they quickly became my go-to, all day shoes. And after having them a few months with a lot of wear, they still look great and are very comfy.

bought these for hubby, he loves them and wears them all the time to work, on hot days when boots are too much. He says they are comfortable, and they look great. he's had them for a while and they are holding up well!

These are about as close as I have come to finding shoes to match the sadly defunct és Accel. My size 13s fit very comfortably, slipping easily on and off but not being too loose while worn.I no longer skate so I cannot comment on how they would stand up to use in that regard (although it seems like there isn't much reinforcement where ollies bust out the side off the toe box), but for everyday use they are excellent. The uppers just sort of don't get dirty or scuffed. I don't really understand how it works, but they just don't really retain dirt and grit the way most shoes do. Without making really any effort they manage to stay looking mostly new.The soles are not the most comfortable in the world as they offer little in the way of cushioning, but they are by no means uncomfortable. They are nicely flexible so you don't have the discomfort that comes from soles being too stiff due to excessive cushioning. They wear a bit quick--specifically the area where your heel hits the ground--but the way I walk tends to wear this area pretty quickly. They lasted 7 months before needing replacement which I guess is pretty good. They are definitely still wearable.For what it's worth, I am reordering. These get 4 stars because they are not as good as és Accels which I would give a 5 to.

I was using running shoes to skate for a while, finally made the switch after I shredded my old shoes and these shoes are great.They are cheap, durable, and they look nice. I wore them with khakis and a button down and they fit the look just fine.
