This fits perfectly over my standard UK light switch, looks very neat on the wall and literally took 5 minutes to install. You just need to make sure that you use enough washers to cover the gap between the light switch and this cover, if you don't use enough washers then when you screw it in the cover will start to bend. If you don't use enough washers, you'll find it incredibly difficult to remove if you need to. I had to use 2 of the plastic washers on each side and its perfect, snug and removes easily. I originally ordered the "Standard" version of this, however it wouldn't quite fit my switch so returned and ordered this one. The final product does look good and works exactly as intended. I'd say the only downside is that this version is gloss white whereas the actual hue remote is matte white so it doesn't quite match. Would still recommend.

Perfect and easy to install. Please install this with care as the plastic can be flimsy, did read some reviews regarding this but with care the plastic easly allows the cables to pass through so no work needed on electrics. Only gave a 4* for one reason. The magnet is not that strong and yes I am clumsy, I have knocked the remotes off the wall a few times but I did get some magnetic strips attached to these and now their strong in holding the remotes.... the force is now strong in these

I personally use my voice or motion sensors in my house to control my hue lights, however guests sometimes forget or naturally just hit the light switch, turning the hue lights off at the power. I purchased these covers (with the remotes as a separate purchase) to stop this from happening.These are great light switch covers that magnetically hold the Hue remote to themselves. Easy to fix by unscrewing the current fitting, positioning the back of the cover behind the fitting before screwing it back in (with the screws going through two holes of the back of the cover). Then the front of the cover clips in concealing the light switch.The look decent, the magnet is strong and keeps the remote in place. You can knock the remote off but you have to brush against it quite hard. I’ve covered all of my switches in my house with these and also the double remote holder where needed. I’d definitely recommend.

Really easy to fit and a smart design so no need to undo any cables, just the screws holding the switch on.Once fastened back up they fit absolutely flush to the wall with no seems at all. Absolutely perfect.Just wish they did a tap dial v2 cover as well!

It works, and I'm happy enough with the product but it could be better.As others have said its shiny white finish looks very cheap. Installation seems straightforward but judging the correct number of washers to use is difficult and if you get it wrong the inner part distorts when tightened down.

Great for use with the Hue remotes as it covers the regular light switch to avoid it being switched off and avoids the remote being lost. The regular light switch is usually well placed in the room so all in all works well. I have managed to knock off the remote on occasion, I guess the magnet wouldn’t hurt being slightly stronger and the box is kinda bulky but that is to be expected to cover the full size switch. I think it looks good in the room.

There are alternate solutions other than this however they are much more complex and expensive this is a quick user friends and easy solution to keeping you smart devices and lights powered on so yourself, partner or guests do not make them go offline by accident, it sits very elequently on the wall over existing lightswitches, and the actual mount is secure and sits flush against the wall, so the appearance is good, and the performance of the magnet is enough to securely hold the remote in place when using the power or dimming function.

En tant qu'utilisateur passionné du système d'éclairage Hue, l'intégration de la télécommande dans mon environnement était cruciale pour maximiser sa praticité. D’autant plus que cela permet d’éviter les activations de l’interrupteur ce qui couperait la connexion avec l’ampoule.Son installation a été simple et rapide, ne nécessitant que quelques étapes pour le fixer sur l'interrupteur existant.Un peu cher mais c’est la meilleure solution que j’ai trouvé jusqu’à présent.Attention à la compatibilité avec la télécommande hue, selon les générations elles ne font pas les mêmes dimensions.

I was disappointed by the plastic quality and the color. To put this on top of a switch that is nice and glossy plastic would be a downgrade.Mine arrived damaged from Amazon so I had to send it back.Other then that it worked as described.

ich suchte eine Abdeckung für meinen manuellen Lichtschalter um darüber einen Philips Hue Lichtschalter anzubringen. Fündig wurde ich bei Iyoki.Gleich zu Anfangs ich bin ein absoluter Laie in Sachen Elektrik. Aber diese Installation ist wirklich leicht zu bewältigen auch von einem Laien,Ich habe gesehen das die Standard etwas dicker ist als die andere Version und habe mich daher für diese Version entschieden.Für mich eine ganz klare Kaufentscheidung und ich werde so nach und nach noch mehrere Abdeckungen kaufen um alles so nach und nach abzudecken.

Prévoir de l’adhésif double face pour fixer la télécommande car l’aimant est très faible (télécommande tombe quand on appuie dessus…).

Es ist eine gute Hilfe, um smarte Lampen zu installieren. Die Fernbedienung passt super rein und hält auch gut. Leider ist die Tiefe nicht ausreichend um BJ Schalter unterzubringen. Selbst ohne Abdeckung stößt der Schalter an. Es geht aber einigermaßen, wenn man die Halterung vor dem Schalter anschraubt, nicht wie angegeben dahinter.
