5/16 Fuel Quick Disconnect Kit

This is the one you want - well made, and it is a true dry-break fitting, does not leak during uncoupling or coupling, and when uncoupled, neither hose can leak gas either. Might cost a little more, but totally worth it.

Added one to the crossover tube on my bike because I hate the mess that comes w removing the tank. It's a tight fit but it works like it should. I'll definitely be adding one to my softail as well.

Used this for my Bobcat 863 to bypass the original fuel system. Internal fuel tank fuel filter got clogged, spent time and money taking apart the bobcat to get to the tank, replaced internal filter, got clogged again within months. Total cost, $2200.00. Bought this inline quick disconnect and bypassed the in tank fuel filter, ran line into tank from the filler port, fixed my problem for a fraction of the cost. Allows me to blow compressed air into the tank when the filter gets clogged, instant fix! Wish I had thought of this first prior to paying all that money for a new in tank filter.

Purchased for my 2018 KTM 1290 Adventure R after OE plastic fuel disconnect failed. OCD replacement is great quality and no doubt will last over time.

Fit my 1290 SAR perfectly and couples far easier than the OEM plastic quick disconnect did. Highly recommended as swapping out a fuel filter is a pain, and anything to make it easier is well worth it.
