Complete ABAP

Good book to learn about the important topics in ABAP. Its advertised as a reference as well as a comprehensive guide. It has done both things well for me so far (I'm a little more than halfway through the book at the moment). The book mentions that this book is understandable for people with no programming knowledge. I would disagree with that and say that the learning curve for such people would be too steep to make this useful. If you are a non-programmer consider reading a programming language book for complete beginners first.

This is a good basic book for ABAP. I covers many topics well.One topic I came across saved me lots of time so it paid for itself quickly.The topic of OOP is not as clear but as this is not the main focus of the book it is acceptable

I liked the way the author presented each concept in a simple way that is easy to comprehend. I read other books on ABAP but they are either complicated, miss important details or outdated. This book lived up to its title covering all topics in ABAP almost exhaustively. It answered me many questions as to why we do certains things certain way. I felt very confident after reading this book and could try many new features introduced in ABAP in recent years.

This book is quite good, meeting my expectation. The in-depth explanation helps to understand the concepts more easily. I like the way the Author described the entire topics effective manner so that one can understand very well.I must say it’s a very good reference book for the beginners as well as experienced ABAPers. It is indeed a complete book on ABAP as it covers all the topics and caters to the requirement of both beginners & practicising ABAPers. The topics have been explained in very simplified manner and in great detail. Totally worth it. Great work by the author. I strongly recommend It!
