These make soldering wires together so much easier! I often strugled trying to keep wires from moving around when applying pressure with the soldering gun. These help hold the wires firmly in place. I often use these in my workbench vise then pop in the wires I'm working on, works great!.

Ok product but still hard to use to hold wires together for soldering.

I saw someone else using one of these and thought I could really use one too. This arrived and when I opened it up, it looked like it had a very thin coating of oil on it. It was actually dry once I got it out of the plastic wrapping. It seemed like it was a little tight at the pivot point, but one drop of oil and it worked smoothly. I played around with it a little bit and I really like it. I think this will work great to hold wires while I solder them. I would say that this is of good quality and it is reasonably priced. I am glad that I saw one in use and I was able to pick one up before my next soldering job. I would recomend this to others.

Holding wires together for soldering is not an easy task. Before I got this tool I cobbled together rigs from vice grip pliers and things as a third hand. the spring-loaded clips from this tool do the job enabling a steady close position of the wires. also, pliers can be spread apart to accommodate various splice lengths. Highly recommended

Arrived on time in good condition. Open the box .Now I had to use it. Down to workshop and setup on my work bench. The left clip for holding the wire doesn’t squeeze tight wire is always in need of adjustment that doesn’t hold .tool needs adjustment .It has potential to be a useful and helpful tool but not this one in the draw it goes with my tools that fell far short of expectations.

Honestly . This tool is exactly what I needed to keep the wires firmly in place and to not disturb them while I soldered them. Great little helper tool

Apenas las voy a probar, pero los materiales se ven de buena calidad y estan muy bien fabricadas, ademas muy buen precio.

Para cables muy muy delgadose falta pero con unas ligas poco antes que el desnivel y aprietan todos los calibres
