One of the best sweet and smooth flavor black tea
This is a very wonderful black tea, little flowering sweet and smooth flavor, one of the top loose black tea I have tasted, nice cup with afternoon cookies

Outstanding
Serve as breakfast tea most mornings. Great alone or with milk. Excellent flavor, body, strength and a rich brown color. Can use the leaves for a second brewing. Our favorite dark tea.

Not a single estate tea but a good cuppa
A traditional assam. The scent is not as rich as I am used to but the flavor is satisfying and I prefer it to the store bought brands. I bought it because I could not get an estate assam (due to the pandemic quarantine) which, I guess, is avery different thing. Anyway, the bottomline is that this is a good cuppa.

Best Assam Tea
While this is probably much more than most people are used to spending on a black tea, I honestly feel it's a steal at this price. I've never had a better Assam tea than this. It's bracing, bold, a little astringent, and has a slight wintergreen/clove-like flavor that's hard to describe. I personally like it without anything added. I'm looking forward to trying other teas from this company after this!

Not Rich or Malty flavor as advertised
This Assam makes a very weak brew--almost no flavor. Not the brisk, malty, full-body of a typical Assam. I tried different brews--the one recommended was very disappointing. I tried more tea leaves or longer time brewing. Nothing help to increase the flavor to a good sturdy Assam. I realize a second flush is not like a BOP Assam but this Assam never exhibited the malty, full body.

This tea producer is the best!
After trying a Vahdam sampler I settled on this "flavor" as my favorite. Those golden tips are pure magic for aroma and taste. Love the small family company that invests in their workers.

Ho comperato questo tè perché avevo un ottimo ricordo di un tè dell'Assam che trovavo in un albergo dove mi fermavo nei miei frequenti viaggi in Germania. Ho provato a cercarlo in Italia ma non ho mai trovato niente di simile. Il vostro prodotto è fresco e saporito ma per i miei gusti è troppo forte, così ho provato a correggerne il sapore. Il primo intervento è stato ridurre il tempo di infusione al minimo di 3 minuti. Questo non è bastato, per cui ho ridotto la dose per tazza a1.2 grammi che mi è parsa giusta. L'aggiunta del limone come uso io, non mi soddisfaceva per cui l'ho corretta con del succo d'arancia in dose doppia del limone. Qui mi sono fermato perchè il risultato per me è ottimo.

I've been buying tea from Vahdam for quite some time, both on Amazon and directly from them. They are an exceptional company with the best teas anywhere. If you are a true tea connoisseur, Vahdam is your go to tea company full stop.

Très bon, bourgeons dorés. D'habitude je n'aime pas le Assam mais je voulais en prendre un de qualité pour juger et je l'ai adoré, robe rouge vif, très aromatique et surtout pas trop astringent ce qui est rare pour un assam. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Fresh and tasty but be aware than once you've tried this tea, there's no going back to the big brand supermarket rubbish.
