Worked as advertised. Used to to add an exhaust fan heater to our bathroom. Rather than run a new line to a switch I just put this in series with the wire. I’m only triggering it from about 10 ft away, so can’t speak to the length of signal distance. Quality seemed decent, but there’s always a thought in the back of my mind that it might not really be 30A rated. I’ll let y’all know if my house burns down.

I am stunned. I was only about 40% confident this AC remote light switch would work. It is a game changer. I bought it to turn on a security light outside my woodshop. It works perfectly! Range from the house is around 100 feet through several walls. I mounted the receiver inside the shop in the peek of the roof about 14 feet high and it works first time every time. However the two remotes each have their own channel. It is very helpful that the remotes are interchangeable so they can be left in 2 different locations to turn the light on with one and off with the other

We have this on our well pump and it's great. We also have it on our water intake pump which is about 100' below our house and it works great. We are very happy with these and the 2 remote units don't share the same remote code so you don't accidentally turn on another pump with the other remote. They are easy to install and last a long time.

Had barn light that stayed on during cloudy days due to bad sensor but it was unreachable without a boom truck. This was a simple and cost effective way to turn off/on barn light from home 300 feet away. Would give 5 stars if the flange around the housing was thicker and wider with bigger screw holes. Made do with smaller screws than I would have liked. Not much in the way of instructions but it’s a simple job of splicing into an existing line running to a light or other device.

This remote switch function properly for a few months. Then one day, my power went out, and when power was restored, the switch would not reset. The instruction booklet was absolutely no help and this product has earned the label. JUNK. Avoid this product at all cost

This unit has very misleading description. First it can not be used in a 40 amp circuit, second it will not work with 240 volts unless you are in Europe. It has a neutral connection and then one hot. When I asked the seller about this issues the response was “ The relay is 40A, but for safety reasons, the maximum current is 30A”. I recommended that they change the description so that it was clearer, their response was that they felt it was well documented and no changes were necessary. I had to change my whole wiring project and insert a relay so it would switch 240 volt 40 amp single phase. Other than the issues mentioned above the unit worked fine for switching a 120 volt 5 amp circuit.
