Great slim-fit denim jeans by Levis
I like my new Levi’s 511 slim-fit denim jeans a lot. They’re a nice looking bold red color. They also fit me very well except for around my waist. My other Levi’s 511 jeans of this same waist size are just fine on me but this pair is different. It is about one inch too loose in the waist, though. Also I was persuaded to buy these jeans because of the Amazon.com webpage advertising: “made in the USA”. The problem is when I received them I looked at the garment tag and I discovered that instead they were made in Bangladesh. I am still glad that I bought them, anyway.

Perfect jeans, but can be tight around the calves for those with larger than average calves.
If you’re going to get the 511s, the “stretch” option is a must. I’ve owned several 511s, but these were my first that are stretch. All the others have simply been too tight for me to move freely and the crotches on all the others have inevitably torn while crouching down after they have worn out a little bit. I have no concern with these tearing since I don’t feel constricted when making long strides or crouching down. One thing of note, if you have relatively built legs, maybe consider a different style than “slim.” I am 6’2” and 195lbs and these are particularly tight around my calves. I was expecting these to be form-fitting, but still hang from my waist to the end of my leg. Unfortunately, in my case (having larger calves than most), they hold tightly around my calves and I find myself pulling them down often. If I don’t, they will bunch up around the knee. Overall, I love the style and think they will be the perfect, modern-fit, fashionable jeans for most!

Great Jeans, just slightly slimmer than most slim jeans
I bought my size (33x30) but they are a little snug when I first put them on. I think that's just how Levi's are. Once you put them on they stretch out and become very comfortable. I have a pair of Old Navy slim jeans and they are a virtually identical style except the Levi's 511 are slightly more tapered through the legs. On a spectrum from skinny jeans to slim jeans, I would say the Levi's 511's are slightly skewed toward the skinny side where as the Old Navy are a true slim fit. But, we're talking a tiny difference here. Both jeans fit almost exactly the same, especially when first out of the wash (a little snug). For me, if I bought the next size up, they might fit well initially, but after wearing them for more than a few minutes they would stretch out a little too big. Also, the waist size would be too big for me. My true size is slightly snug when I first put them on but they literally stretch out within minutes and are very comfortable. So if you're comfortable with a slim jean that is slightly more skinny in the legs than most slim jeans, then these are great!

Great jeans after break in!
This is my second pair. I have the Rinsed Playa (for the love of all your customers change this name) and the Rigid Grey ones. My old jeans were starting to wear down after wearing them for a good 5 years. I followed peoples advice and ordered one size up. I normally wear a 31x30 and I ordered a 32x30. The waist is a good fit however the length is a little long. It doesn't look bad as it is but I may end up getting them hemmed 0.5" or so.The first thing I do is wash these. Then tumble dry on low until dry. Next I will put them on and wear them around the house for a day and by then they are usually stretched out pretty well and the fit is perfect. After about a week of wearing them they seem to have settled pretty well. Sometimes they do get a little tight in the crotch area but otherwise these jeans are good quality, fit, and look for someone that wants a more modern look without spending $100.

Great fit, nice sheen; may come with a loose thread or two
The fit of these jeans is outstanding. It's not the sort of disturbing, I-can-see-everything tight mess that's become inexplicably popular in recent years, but it's also not a billowy, saggy pile of cloth flapping about your rear and upper leg like some nightmarish pair of denim sweatpants. No, it's perfect for a short, very skinny guy - It'll accommodate your general shape very well without making you look like a twig or being too tight. The fabric and stitching quality seem like they'd stand up to a beating. Like with similar pairs of this model that have a tiny bit of stretch to them, I did find a couple of loose threads, but these were easy to remove with scissors and did not leave any apparent damage. For those concerned about country of origin, my pair of Rigid Grey 511's was made in Pakistan and comes with a little blurb about the jeans on the inside.Unlike with the black pair of 511's I have, it doesn't seem immediately obvious at all that these jeans contain a stretchy material; they are a grey with a slight resin sheen that seems to be of a substantially thicker and stronger material. My black pair fuzzes and frays slightly, probably owing to the lack of a resin coating; this one doesn't.I honestly couldn't find anything I didn't like about these pants. If you're good at matching grey jeans with the rest of your clothes (I'm not), I strongly recommend these.
