Smells nice, although the patchouli is very light.

I've often learned that darker patchouli is more potent but it doesn't necessarily mean that it smells any better or stronger The clear I ended up getting a clear bottle which I was hoping for the darker stuff and it didn't have any in fact it smelled just as strong if not stronger so don't let that be a distraction because it's not necessarily true

I have been buying this brand of Patchouli oil for a few years now and can't imagine using another! There are some Patchouli oils that just aren't quite right but this brand has the best smelling, most consistent product I've found. The smell is deep and potent, a little goes a long way and despite Patchouli being a divisive scent, I frequently get complimented on how nice I smell.

I have been wearing patchouli all my life. Everyone always stops me to ask me “What’s that great smell?” I used to always purchase Auric Blends. The color is supposed to be a deep, dark amber like you see in the photo. This way, the smell is pure patchouli, and it stays on for a long time. Lately, Auric Blends has been watering down the formula. Now it no longer looks like patchouli, the smell is very faint and it does not last. It’s practically gone a few minutes after applying where it used to last most of the day. Look at the color of the bottle shown and look at what I received. I received a light blonde color. The brand is probably trying to give you less product so they can make more bottles, but charge you the same or more than in the past. This is terrible! I recommend you either find another brand that has a true rich, dark amber color to confirm that it’s truly Patchouli and not a watered down version like this one by Auric Blends, or just make it yourself. It’s so sad that the company that used to make the best patchouli is now letting their customers down for a buck. Don’t buy!!!

This is my favorite brand of patchouli. I have been wearing it for 30 years now and I am very happy that it is available on Amazon. It is so convenient to just be able to order it. I love the scent. High quality that lasts a long time.

I just got the bottle yesterday and put a slight bit on. It has a medicinal smell and it last for about an hour or so. Then you get that aroma you desire as the smell slightly tones down. I woke up and touched the back of my ears and could still smell the fragrance I fell in love with during the late 80's (I'm from the last year of the baby boomers). Not good if you want it to be loud to all that are around you unless you put it in multiple areas. Good buy for me.

The Real Deal Patchouli !!! Every time I buy Patchouli it's always a mixed scent - this is a real Patchouli . Just Patchouli ....Love it!!!!!

The color is not as pictured and not what I’m used to. The oil is translucent; almost clear. It does not smell like patchouli and instead smells like pine sol.

Smells wonderful. Good value. This is the second time I have purchased this.

I like the fact that it has a slightly different scent than my usual brand, but it should not cost more just because it has a roller in the end of the container. And then the shipping costs....:/ Other than the cost, it's a good product.
