Didn’t Know I Wanted This
Love being in an art league where I learn so much about products and their uses. Sometime ago I began framing my watercolor pieces for exhibiting without including the glass or plexiglass protection. Risky for the art piece but a better showing without glare and a dulling of the colors. Casual conversation introduced me to this wax for sealing my watercolors. Apply and buff the next day. Protected with an added bonus of adding a vibrancy to the colors. Great product!

Great Protection for my watercolor paints
This product is amazing. I did a test with a scrap piece of watercolor paper, and the water actually beats up on the surface protecting the color. It also as a richness to the colors

It is wax. There are how-to's on YouTube
because it comes with no instructions. I have rubbed it on several bookmarks. I use gloves. It is hard to buff. Maybe I am using too much, I am not sure. I have used it on several type of watercolor paper all with the same results. I have not tested if the bookmarks are waterproof after waxing yet. I worry that the wax might come off in a book, so I wonder if a clear spray would work better. It works well over dried watercolor, and Pigma Micron pens. It does not work well over colored pencils, (they have wax in them) but it did not take all the color off so it worked out ok.

Love this stuff!
Easy to apply. Doesn't stain or harm watercolor. Delivers waterproof artwork once dry. Also makes it near impossible to write on with pen or sharpie, so take note to do that before applying.
