4.5 Stars!!
I bought this to keep Rodents from coming in my apartment through my front door! Works great! I bought 3. 1 for my bedroom door to keep my room cool and the other 1 for my closet. As far as keeping rodents out i give this 5 stars!!! But im giving it 4 because it is a bit flimsy and i constantly have to push it inwards into place with my foot everytime i want to close the door. The good thing is that you can cut the foam inside to fit your door. As far as insulating and helping with air draft in my room i think its working. Im not to sure if it keep smells out/in. But my AC cools my room faster now. So thats great. Or is it cuz summer is over. Lol. I really dont know. But it is perfect for keeping pest out. And honestly its not ugly looking so thats great.Just be aware that air can travel thru the cracks on the sides and top of your doors. But i deffinatley think this is the best product out of all the door sweeps and guards I've bought and returned. I recommend it 100%

Great for Climate Control, Noise Reduction and Rodent Control
This product really works. I have purchased three of these for three very different applications, and all worked very well. First, I purchased one for the door in my office to keep the mice out. I work in a large industrial style building with a mice issue. For weeks I would come to the office with mice droppings on my desk and the day that I installed this baby, the problem ended 100%. Second, I purchased this product for use in my guest room as a noise dampener for when I play guitar or record music. It greatly helps to soundproof the space. Lastly, I used this product to weather proof my front door which had a huge draft prior to installing this item. The product is suitable for gaps 1/4 inch to up to 1 inch I'd say. Only one star off because depending on the size of the door, when you cut the Styrofoam it can leave some excess cloth that can bunch up. Use safety pins to fasten the excess cloth over itself.

Quick installation, gets the job done!
I'm very happy with this product -- I did not need it for weather insulation, so much as blocking light/sound. I'm in an apartment building, there was a large gap in between the beginning of my carpet and the hallway. I actually got this idea from my neighbor, who bought the same/similar product for her door. The instructions said to cut an inch or a bit shorter than the door's measurements, but this was just perfect for my door, I didn't cut anything. My door is 36" across, for reference. I attached a picture. To install, I took one of the styrofoam tubes out, laid the fabric flat on my carpet, then shut my door over it and pulled the fabric out on the other side and stuck the tube back into position. This was easier than pulling it underneath the door from the end. It slides pretty tightly on the carpet now. I believe it's washable, the fabric part at least, so that will keep it from getting too grungy at the entrance.Bonus: it's preventing businesses from slipping flyers under my door, apparently ;-D

Among the worst purchases I've ever made
I can't fathom the positive reviews for this thing. Obviously it works for some people, but I don't have an unusual door by any means and this draft stopper simply doesn't work. Its such an astonishing failure on all levels that it's almost silly to describe them, but:It won't stay put and wriggles out from under the door. And I don't mean erratically or rarely or once in a long while; I mean it slides under itself or gets otherwise clogged every single time you open or close the door.It is hard to close the door fully even when you take the time to adjust the thing manually. It gets so choked up on itself when you try to open the door from the outside that the door jams up and you can't open the door. I had to gain entry to my own house through the backdoor. In short, this item seems to function best as a perpetrator of constant annoyance, much like Inspector Clouseau's Cato. It might have some utility as a door-stopper-slash-blockade in the the event of a zombie apocalypse, but if you are the kind of homeowner who a) likes to open doors, b) likes to close doors, c) likes to go through doors, then this product is not for you.The misery is compounded, of course, by the fact that the cost of shipping will make it pretty much not worth the trouble to return it, which leads the miserablist in me to think, despite some of these positive reviews, that the product is designed as a deliberate piece of defraudery.I hate it and I hate myself more than a teentsy bit because I was dumb enough to buy. Bad, Irazabal, bad!

Ugly as sin, but effective!
The picture makes this thing look like a small, dignified attachment that goes under your door.In truth, it's two foam swimming pool noodles sewed into fabric sleeves and secured with more fabric. It makes the door hard to close and is not subtle in any way shape or form.But... It does work. It stops the draft, has decreased ants getting into our apartment and doesn't let any light shine under the door. So, not quite as advertised but I have continued to use it due to it's effectiveness.

Like other reviewers have mentioned
Like other reviewers have mentioned, the picture is deceptive. I thought the area under the door was stiff/solid, but that is not the case. In general, the product I received looks nothing like this picture. It looks like two taupe pillows with a floppy piece of fabric in between. It is ineffective as a noise and scent blocker, but it is excellent at collecting dust and pet hair. Wish I had gone to a home improvement store and just bought some sort of sticky foam molding like other people in my building did. Live and learn.

For Big Older Doors, or will need trimming/modifying
I purchased 2, one for the front door and one for the back. For my older, larger front door it is perfect. No trimming, no fuss, is perfect. For my newer, smaller back door it is not great, but I don't think that's the fault of the product. The back door is not level to the ground off the back, is about 5" narrower, and 1" thinner of a door. I trimmed it quite easily, but it catches and is pretty annoying, but like I said, not a fault, there are just lots of sizes of doors.
