I loved the way it felt right away, the thickness is great, and the firmness seemed just right for me. Me. I couldn't wait to get it on my bed. After waiting the 48 hours I was able to get it onto my bed, the straps to attach it are great and super helpful, and it fit perfectly. When I tried laying down on it, I couldn't wait to go to bed because it felt so good!Here's where the problem comes in for me, unfortunately. This mattress pad is way too hot for me. I've been waking up sweating every night, and unable to fall back asleep. It is so comfortable and I wanted to love it so bad, but It just isn't for me. I am a hot sleeper, but I thought this had cooling foam that might make it work for me. It is a great product, but just not for me.I will say that I am super bummed or stressed out I guess trying to handle the return process. It is supposed to go in the original box, but now that it has expanded it is way way too big. I don't own a vacuum sealer like the other reviews are saying. I'm trying to figure out what to do before the return window closes, I will edit this and let you guys know if I figure something out! Hope this helps somebody.

This is a product that everyone needs on their bed and absolutely worth every penny. First of all, I would like to thank all the people who posted reviews on this product. I would have never taken the chance and ordered it without the wonderful inputs that were provided. My husband and I were gifted a very expensive new Costco bed that was as hard as a rock. When the owners said it was a very firm mattress they weren’t kidding. Literally, it felt like you were sleeping on a bed of nails. I have had hip replacements in the past and that one night of sleep had me unable to walk correctly for three days. We didn’t want to spend the money and toss this bed and buy a new one, for it was new. We started to investigate toppers to purchase, hoping that it would add some comfort for us. I have owned egg crates in the past and they are terrible because of the heat they produce. I produce enough heat on my own! We ordered the 4-inch topper and it is amazing, for it doesn’t produce heat and you sink right into it. I was impressed not only with the quality of sleep I had but also how well It is constructed. The cover that is included is made of very nice material. Don’t freak out for this product is very well vacuumed sealed and in a tiny package when it arrives. This was also impressive, for the first thing that went through my mind was “you have got to be kidding, this is going to be a joke!” The topper does have a seam down the center that is elevated. There are instructions on how to get rid of it, but our dog had no problem getting it out with her weight. I hope that this product lasts for years to come, for that first night of sleep was well worth the price for us. We will continue to brag about this product to everyone that comes our way looking for a better night sleep.PS. We also purchased the hotel pillows that were offered at an additional price by the same manufacture. They were just as described. For once in 20 years, we have the perfect bed along with pillows to match. One doesn’t realize how difficult it is to purchase these items until you get them home and they are the wrong ones. Beds and pillows seem to be either to soft or hard, no perfect medium. It seems impossible to win at your choices sometimes, but we scored big this time.

I want to start out by saying that this topper made my very hard, uncomfortable, and painful mattress into a very comfy and cozy place, that I never thought I could have without buying a new mattress all together. I don't wake up with awful back pain or hip pain.HOWEVER... I am pretty sad that I have to return this because I wake up so hot and sweaty. I want to keep this so bad, because it IS so comfortable. But it's not worth waking up sweating everyday. I am not sure how the return is going to go since there is no way I will be able to return it in the original box.

Have a King Sealy Firm Posturepedic bed, and had it for 4 years. As I am getting older, the need for a firmer bed had given up the ghost, and was waking up mornings with sore lower back, shoulders, and neck. 1st thing I did was change my pillow, which helped my neck, and my shoulders somewhat. After spending a few weeks at our other home, and sleeping on a Firm mattress with a pillow top, I noticed my morning aches and pains were slowly going away. Ah..ha!! Searching through sites for a mattress topper led me to Amazon, and then read reviews of what there was. I went with a 3 inch topper as I am 6' 2", and 240 lbs, and wanted something that would spread my weight over a larger area, and still provide some cushioning.The box it came in was well sealed, and the mattress was rolled in a vacuum sealed bag that had a protected cutter included to open it up. It was recommended to lay it out to expand for 24 to 72 hours. I did not do that. I spread it out on the floor, walked all over it, rolled all over it to make sure it would reform back to its designed shape. Which it did.Put it under my mattress cover, directly in contact with the bed, and used both the straps on the pillow top and the mattress cover to hold it in place. Works great and does not move or slide.Took a night or 2 to get used to it, but lower back pains and shoulder aches have all but gone. I would say the only draw back is that the ease I had in repositioning myself on a firm bed, now takes a little more effort due to the fact that the bed is softer, and has more give in it. Not a big problem though.Only wonder why it took me so long to buy this!!
