2PCS Stingray Leather Skin Hide Pelt Strap Natural Rawhide Off-Cuts Strip Dark Red

I needed some cheap ray skin for a sword rebuild I’m doing and these were perfect! I wasn’t sure the quality or size would be any good but the price swayed me and I am not disappointed. The black skin has a really nice shine to it. Both pieces I got had a lot of texture even though they’re sold as off cuts. So what if there is a pinhole or three here and there, these are great for craft projects.

Nice but small strips are cut from pelt area with very small texture. I would buy the full skin next time

These are definitely off cuts from a larger piece, that being said it is stingray skin and it worked for what I needed

They have several pinholes, but that’s to be expected. I’m pretty sure that other reviewer who said these are fake doesn’t know what they’re talking about. The pieces I received seem real, and the ones in that other reviewer’s photos look fine to me. The texture doesn’t go all the way to the edge because of how the leather is processed, I think. I compared these strips to stingray skins I got from Tandy Leather, and those are legit for sure, but they also have those kind of edges.

These were great. If I ever have to wrap another sword hilt, I’ll use them again.

Looking at the images it appears that the pieces are 4+ cm wide, however the pieces I got are not. At the widest part of the larger piece it is 3.75cm, the smaller piece is 2cm at the narrow. Both pieces are 19.5cm long. They look like good material, but will not work for my project. Ow well, something will come up for them.

Nice I thought it didn’t delivered but I found nice looks good, same as the photos.
