Lemongrass Citrus Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner - 26 Oz, Pack of 4

This is my favorite multi purpose cleaner now that I've broken up with Mrs Meyer's. I have four cats and the fragrance/essential oils in Mrs Meyer's multi purpose cleaners were starting to bother two of them, so I switched over to this old standby and use almost nothing else now. It cleans well, the nozzle always lasts, I've never had an issue there, and I feel confident in its disinfectant abilities so long as you do leave the surface damp for ten minutes- I do a pre clean where I spray and wipe off the surfaces, then I just go around spraying stuff and let it air dry, which takes about 10-15 minutes. It is not counter perfume tho- I don't love the smell tbh but I think I've gotten too used to heavily fragranced cleaners. It just smells kind of like a damp herbal smell, but I'll take it over all the other stuff I've used that probably gave me a headache lol. I've even started mopping with it, I just pour a bottle into my bona spray mop! It doesn't dissolve everything on our tile floor in one go but it's a nice basic clean, and with all our cats I appreciate the fact that it feels harmless, disinfects and dries with absolutely no residue! It's kind of the perfect floor cleaner, who would've thought? 😋

I LIKE that this product has fewer ingredients that I don't really want to use in my kitchen. Its no-rinsing needed, food area safe formula makes it great for even disinfecting my kitchen sinks each night after I've cleaned them: I use it to clean off foods and obvious kitchen sink "yuck" and then just spritz the sinks and leave them. I'm confident that most germs are eliminated within a few minutes--following the directions! No bleach, no ammonia, no harsh chemicals. I wish it didn't have sodium laurel sulfate in it, but I'm guessing it MUST have an ingredient like that to help clean germy residue, and it does a good job of that. The spray nozzle sends an appropriate amount out of the bottle, but sometimes I put the product into another glass bottle with a nozzle that puts out a finer a mist--that makes it last even longer. Either way, I feel pretty good about my sinks without using super harsh chemicals. I do use the spray on other surfaces too, but I definitely recommend it for the kitchen. I wish I could still get large refill bottles, but I don't find those anywhere anymore.

This stuff cleans well. I use it for my countertops and spot cleaning spills. It works right away. I'm not sure it would remove set in stains, but for everyday cleaning and wiping it does the job. I would buy it again, but I would choose a different scent. The scent isn't overly powerful and isn't lingering in a bad way, but it does leave a clean smell after using it. I just am not a fan of lemongrass. It's a little too grassy smelling for my taste.

I chose Seventh Generation Disinfecting Spray for one VERY specific reason... it is a baby safe DISINFECTANT! I'm finding that a lot of people don't know the difference between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting. I'm also finding that some products claim to sanitize or disinfect, but all they really are capable of is cleaning. It's misleading, especially if you are a health care professional like me, seeing all of these cleaners or reviewers making false claims. It is also pretty challenging to find a spray that disinfects AND is safe for use around children so kudos to this brand. Since this disinfects, it kills microorganisms (bacteria AND virus') on any given surface if you follow the instructions for disinfecting on the bottle. It is also baby safe, so I have peace of mind using it around my home and child's room (I still usually go over it again with plain water after just because I'm paranoid). The spray came in bulk, so I don't have to worry about running out and can be a bit liberal with using it, doesn't leave streaks, and it works well for me. The only complaint that I have is that the Lemongrass Citrus scent isn't my favorite... it doesn't smell like lemongrass to me but maybe more like citrus sage? It's not my favorite but next time I'll just buy a different scent. If you are looking for a baby-safe disinfectant, I HIGHLY recommend the sprays from this brand. Hope this helps!

This works well in all my cleaning jobs. I like the lack of toxic smell. It can clean with out that.

I've been buying this product from my local stores for years (love it), but recently they've been having stocking issues so I decided to try getting it here. That was a mistake. I don't know what was in the bottle, whether it went rancid or what, but this is nothing like the spray is supposed to be. Usually it smells like thyme, but this batch smelled awful and the fumes hurt my sinuses. Immediate return. Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews until after it happened, but I found that many of the recent reviews had the same issue.

Love the smell compared to harsh chemical cleaners. It has a light, herby thyme scent. It does the job and lasts twice as long as harsh cleaners ive used in the past.
