It is fine, but it is no different from filter cloth that you would otherwise use in your French drain (hence you may not need to buy this expensive wrap).

Worked great, pleased with how it performed

This fabric wrap was made to fit with the Flo Well system, and it does the job excellently. Sizing is perfect. All you need is scissors to cut a hole around your drainage line, and duct tape to ensure that the filter wrap is securely in place when you backfill gravel around the outside of the Flo Well with the added fabric wrap. Ensures that water can flow outward once collected, and silt can't clog up the Flo Well. It allows a faster rate of water flow from the Flo Well into the surrounding gravel than would be the case if you used landscape fabric to wrap the Flo Well. I'm planning to install a second drywell next spring, and will purchase this filter wrap again for the job.

Excellent product, just like the pro’s use. Looks and feels like felt. I used to fully cover the drainage stone and a small catch basin under my drain. Been working perfectly to collect excess rainwater on the step, before it gets to my porch. Recommended!

Follow the directions. Bury the darn thing. Hope it works for a long time. Nuff said.
