Women's Sonja Cabrio Clog

I love these shoes! These are the 2nd pair I've had. A few years back I got plantar fascitis in one foot, which is excruciating painful to take even the slightest step. These were the only shoes I could wear that would relieve that pain and allow me to walk normally. This is due to the arch.. I tried on a ton of these type of shoes, but this particular pair saved my life! Well, finally that fascitits is gone (who knows what even caused it), and I still wear them because they are so comfortable and they always look great.

There is a photo another reviewer posted showing the heal broken off. The exact same thing happened to my shoes...barely worn. They were in my closet a few years while I recovered from knee surgery but I was shocked to have them break nearly in half! What kind of cheap material does that?!

I thought these were the Dansko, but they are better and for nice and snug. They are not for anyone with other than Regular or M width. If you have a wide foot, they are not for you. Narrow would be ok. I wear an 8m and the 39 fit perfect

Ok, so it's not the prettiest shoe in the world. I have peripheral neuropathy and wearing shoes can be painful. These shoes provide excellent support for my feet. I like that they are clogs and slip off easily. I can stay on my feet all day in these shoes.

After wearing Dansko clogs for decades, I changed over to Sanita when the company split. I usually wear either oiled or patent leather Sonja clogs, which are soft and comfortable. I decided to try the Cabrio, which is a stiffer leather that I hope will break in. It is not as comfortable for extended wear as the other types of leather. I suggest ordering a size up. I had ordered the 38 which reflects my usual shoe size, but had to return the shoes for 39, which fits fine.ADDENDUM: Well, it seems I spoke too soon. Noticed this morning that the right footbed insert was pushed forward by at least 1/4 inch. I checked further and found this insert was coming unglued and is lifting entirely off the shoe. I will have to return these.

This is the clog I always imagine! Looks great, walks even better. Sizing runs just a smidge small, so be generous with your European numbers.

I purchased these shoes in anticipation of transitioning out of my tennis and brace. I had the clogs for a couple of months before I was able to start using them. I did not use them exclusively or for long periods of time. On the 3rd or 4th use the rubber sole starting falling apart as I wore them!!!!! I spent $90 on them and I have not been able to contact anyone @ Amazon about this - trying to get customer service has proven to be a feat in and of itself. I would not purchase this brand again.
